I paid over 300 pounds to stay in this hotel on a Monday. Maybe because it's the corporate rate since I know the same room cost only 69 pounds the previous night booked independently but i was awefully disappointed by it.
The lobby and the restaurant area are very nice, funky design that reminds to a NY upscale cafeteria with a very urban a warm vibe. The staff is nice and helpful and the contrast between the jeans dress code at reception and the fully dressed-up waiters at the restaurant is refreshing.
The rooms however are nothing to be thrilled about. Quite small but decent size for London standards, buildt in shower, no bath tub, veryt basic amenities, minimalistic design that borderlines dull and views to a dodgy alleway complete the pack or an awefully cold room!
Not even the airconditioned could compensate the chilly room and I woke up to a horrible sensation of not wanting to leave the bed.
Just for claification, I was part of a bigger group and every single one of us made the same comment about the temperature.
So generally, even thought the hotel has it's positives, it is definetely not worth the astronomic price, for that money, you will be better off elsewhere.
