“Worst experience in my life”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2011

Room is very small the hotel is very dirty we paid for the service and they didn't change the towels for the whole week they said they will change it only one time ,the staff are not cheerful .
Worst experience in my life the only good thing in this hotel is the location.

It is not a regular hotel, it is an apart-hotel where you basically rent an apartment for the time you are going to stay, and you pay when you check-in (not in the check-out). You also sign a contract that you will follow all the building rules. Said that, the room was good enough, quiet, but very small. Every weekday they had cleaning service, like in a hotel, including the dishes from the kitchen - but not on weekends! And the towels were not changed for the whole week we stayed there. The location was not really good. Except for the Science/Natural History/Victoria & Albert Museums, all other touristic places are very far. Even though Chelsea is a good neiborhood, it is a residential one, so don't expect many things to do around the place. There is a supermarket very close, which is good once you have a kitchen in your apartment. But the subway station is a good walk, around 500m (not very close), and after a whole day sightseeing it looks even farther by the end of the day when you are tired. But the strangest thing was that we noticed there is a night club inside the hotel, a few steps from the reception there is a doorman who will open the door for certain people with night dresses. In one of the times we passed through the corridor the doorman opened the door for a couple of ladies, and it was dark inside with neon signs mentioning "piercing and tatoos" or something like this. Anyway, we were never bothered by anything from this place, but it looked rare.

Jó elhelyezkedés, megfelelő stúdió apartmanok kiváló felszereltséggel, kényelmes ággyal. Udvari szobában nem hallatszik az utca zaja. Rendkívül tiszta, minden nap takarítanak. Internet fizetős és silány. A szállás meleg (padló alatti melegvíz vezeték). Klíma nincs. A személyzet igen készséges, kedves.

My wife and 12 month old baby arrived on a flight from Sydney to be told that my confirmed and paid for booking would be downgraded from a one bedroom to a studio! This was after my calling them 2 days prior to confirm that all was well. We had paid for this accommodation 3 months in advance.
We were told there where no options for that night and they would see what they could do after that, The studio was too small for the travel cot to sit next to the bed, so we had to set it up between the front door and the bathroom ( so could not get to the bathroom without moving the cot). The next day we were told that they could not move us as they would just have to let someone else down and now we where in the room anyway. After I demanded a full refund, they moved us into what we had paid for.
DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE, THEY LIE AND WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET RID OF YOU. THE BUILDING IS DECREPIT AND DIRTY AND THE STUDIO IS TINY SO BE WARNED.
We are normal professional people and have never had any trouble traveling even in some of the most difficult environs.
The only good thing can say is that there a great steak restaurant and bar next door!

Room Tip: If you must, get a one bedder.

The moment we walked into the Hotel Reception I knew that this was going to be a very special birthday surprise. The Hotel lettings staff were of the highest calibre and we could not have been made more welcome. The room was of the highest standard with a very comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. The in-house bar “Barts” got the birthday off to a flier.

Thank you also to the Hotel reception in enquiring about my mystery birthday treat which was a trip to see “The Phantom of the Opera”. Highly recommended!!

Spent a week at the Cloisters with my family and was very pleased with the room as well as the service. I was recommended Cloisters by a friend who has stayed there during all his London trips in the last 12 years.

Cloisters is located in the very heart of Chelsea with good access to central London as well as all the nice activities the city has to offer you. In terms of prices I was extremely happy for the deal and the directors’ were lovely chaps who were very helpful even after office hours (I have some dreadful experience of rude management at Nell Gwynn House).

Given my experience with London hotels Cloisters offer by far the most price worthy deals for longer stays.

Stayed here for 6 long nights with my husband and adult daughter. I had a very hard time trying to find affordable accommodation in a convenient location for the 3 of us. I booked what I believed was a 1 bedroom apartment with a sofa bed in the lounge for our daughter. It turned out to be an "open plan bedroom" (ie studio) with a double bed and trundler bed next to each other squashed in the lounge area (which is NOT what we wanted). To make matters worse, the bathroom and kitchenette were SO tiny - not the greatest for 3 adults! The bathroom was the worst, especially with a hopeless shower. There was no air conditioning so I'm glad it wasn't hot, as there was no way you could have any windows open as it was SOOOO noisy especially at night. We were facing the street and cars sped up and down all night long. I found it impossible to sleep so resorted to taking a sleeping pill every night we were there. We tried in vain to move to another apartment, but was told there was nothing available (yeah right!).

The plus side was the location, although it was a 10 minute walk to the nearest tube station (ok if it's not raining). There was a mini-mart a few doors down which was very handy. Numerous pubs and restaurants 5 minute walk away. Easy walk to Harrods and Knightsbridge shops.

Would definitely not recommend - go elsewhere.
