“Convenient for The City and The O2 Arena”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

We booked in here when we were attending a show by Australian Pink Floyd at the O2. We had an executive room which was large and comfortable. We were on the 12 floor and the views were quite spectacular.

There is an Executive Lounge on the 14 floor serving hot and cold buffet breakfast and snacks during the day with beverages, including alcohol, after 6pm.

The front desk staff were very courteous and helpful, my wife is in a wheelchair and they were very attentive to her needs.

We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend the hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor if you want the view. Book a rate that includes breakfast, it is worth the extr...

Stayed here for the third time to celebrate my wife's birthday. We had a one night package which included dinner. We were upgraded to an executive room which was a very nice gesture (although the receptionist did not point out that we could not use the executive lounge which was slightly embarrassing when we did try an do so and were told that we couldn't because the hotel had upgraded us foc). Another nice gesture was two slices of birthday cake delivered to the room - very thoughtful. Dinner was good although there was some confusion as to what we were entitled to under our package which took some time to sort out before we could order. Love the breakfast - such a huge choice. Staff are friendly and helpful. This Hilton represents by far the best value for money in London as it is usually considerably cheaper than all the others. We love the area and transport links to central London are excellent. Will come a fourth time.

Thank you for choosing to return to our hotel for your third stay to celebrate your wife’s special occasion. I am glad to read that overall you enjoyed your stay and that you still find the team friendly and helpful. I have spoken to the Front of House manager with regards to access to the lounge and the confusion as to what was included in your rate package and she joins me in apologising for the slight shortfalls in service you received. I am please that this will not mar you from returning back to the hotel for your fourth visit.

We had a free upgrade on arriving to a Junior Suite which was amazing with a massive bed, 2 tvs and sectioned off lounge area. The room had a wonderful view of London and the bed had a love heart of rose petals on it with petals all across the shelf on the back, which was lit up, so romantic. The hotel is just over the road from South Quays underground on the DLR line, which was ideal for a base. Had dinner at the hotel and the service was excellent. The rib-eyed steak was delicious and I asked for a selection of cheeses for desert which wasn't on the menu but they willingly supplied it and was so scrumptious! The breakfast was great with a wide variety of things to eat. We left the luggage at the hotel and went to Greenwich on the underground. There's a great market selling all sorts of crafts and lovely things to eat there, shops are good. Then went to the Maritime Museum, The Queen's House and walked up to The Observatory where there are lots of free museums to go into with marvellous views over London. Will stay again - ideal for Excel, O2 and Greenwich.

A lovely hotel!, my daughter and l stayed overnight at this hotel after attending an exhibition at the Excel.
We were given a free upgrade to an executive room which was very clean, comfortable and had everything you could need, also given a further surprise of birthday cake and balloons as it was my birthday.
We found the hotel very quiet with interesting views of the river, the London Eye and London Bridge.
The staff were lovely in all areas, very helpful and they smile!, would definitely stay here again one day.
Thank you Hilton London Canary Wharf :).

Had a lovely weekend stay in London & decided to stay at Hilton Canary Wharf it being short distance from O2 Arena on a B&B tarrif. On arrival we were advised we had been upgraded to Executive room foc. The room was very spacious with mini bar, tv, hairdryer, iron and board, safe & a great bathroom including large shower cubicle with separate bath. It didn't matter the view was non existant of an empty unused parking lot we spent most of our time out sightseeing.
Breakfast buffet is well worth it, your spoilt for choice-no one could leave the restaurant hungry.
The Hotel location has easy access to Canary Wharf tube station 5min walk over footbridge where there is also a good sized shopping mall with varied shops & eateries. As well as bars/eateries on the wharf near to footbridge.

Having recently stayed in it's nearby sister hotel in the Docklands, this Hilton is like a different world altogether. Spacious, modern, comfortable rooms with staff that are a credit to the Hilton brand name.

I was staying overnight prior to my stag do in London and I checked in quickly, was upgraded to a very spacious Deluxe room that had a lovely view of the Shard and the City. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept on in years and the pillows were perfect and that is from someone who travels a lot and stays in numerous hotels.

The bathroom was clean and I liked the touch of being able to listen to the TV in the bathroom - meant I could still hear what was going on in the golf whilst taking a shower!
Room service food was delivered quickly and was of a very high standard and similarly with breakfast.

However, what makes this hotel that little bit more special is the staff. Cannot fault a single one of them that I encountered. They were genuinely interested in me, what I had to say and all had a smile on their face.

The only down side to this hotel are the room rates during the week, otherwise I would stay here every time I was in Canary Wharf for business.

Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room Tip: I was really happy with room 901 but I am sure that all of the rooms are excellent.
