Stayed for a weekend break here and everything was perfect. The room was clean bright and spacious. The bathroom was well suited to an older couple having appropriate hand rails in the correct places. The toiletries were useful and of good quality. The breakfast was all one could wish for. But most important for us was the helpfulness of the staff. All the staff whether it was in the restaurant or reception or the room made us feel that they could not do enough for us. If I were to single out one particular member of staff it would be Robin in the lobby who gave us information that made our visit more enjoyable. He organised taxis and stored our luggage and was so reassuring with us that I felt he would have jumped straight into the Thames to save us if that was required!!!

Room Tip: our friends were on the 10th floor and had a good view

Thank you for your feedback on your recent stay at the hotel and for sharing your experience. It was great to read that you enjoyed your stay here at the hotel, especially your room and the helpfulness of the team in particular, Robin on Concierge. I will certainly share your comments with the team.

I think one of the nicest hotels in Canary is Hilton. The staff was very welcoming, although they were of all nations of the planet and spoke a very broken English for a hotel with such a reputation. We stayed on the 7th floor with view to the Thames and one of the bridges over it and it was great. Elevator from the ground floor up to 7 in 3 seconds, the first day I had bad elevator if you believe it ...

Large spacious rooms, a bathroom where there is a divine box connected to the TV so the program could give music and sit in the tub to relax. The bed was huge.

Food and do not need to say were days when I could not simply decide what to eat. It was so diverse. I think from this point of view was the best hotel in which we stayed.

One thing I did not like: starting 3rd floor windows no longer opened for safety reasons ( to stop throwing people).

Stayed here when attending an exhibition at The Excel centre. No complaints at all, nice bar area and after a drink made our way to Goodmans steak restaurant which is 2 minutes away. Was upgraded for just £10 more, everything was fine except I could only get the sound of the tv to come out in the toilet !.
Breakfast was a buffet and staff were more than polite,

Stayed for two nights with choir taking part in a concert at Royal Albert Hall. Check in, in spite of numbers booking in (two coaches) was quick and efficient! Room excellent, very large and spacious even if we didn't see much of it!
Having prebooked a table on line, was disappointed that the hotel had not received the booking. Luckily there was plenty of room but had there not been.......... Menu varied and unusual. HIghly recommend the rib eye with black bean sauce. I have not tasted such a tender steak for a very long time, almost melted in mouth!
Husband, because of early departure for rehersals opted for continental breakfast in room. It was delivered on time and was most generous in quantity!
After he had left, I breakfasted in the restaurant. Superb choice but was disappointed that twice I ended up with cold tea!! Apparently the boiler had developed a fault! It was resolved eventually but.....
Due to itiniary had bar meal on Saturday afternoon! Quality and quantity excellent but not much cheaper than the main courses in the restaurant.
Sunday breakfast was wonderful as we had more time to enjoy. Beautiful bacon and so much choice, omellettes, boiled eggs etc and that was before you got to the Continental breakfast section!
Food and drinks are pricey but that is what you get when you stay in hotels. Plenty of alternatives within a 15 minute walk, which with the inclement weather we have had, didn't want to chance hence dining "in"!
All the staff were friendly, smiley and approachable especially the very big Concierge who couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable.
Hotel adjacent to DLR and I do mean adjacent it runs within feet of the bedrooms! However saying that we were on the 3rd floor and didn't hear it at all due to wonderful glazing. Friends on the higher floors heard some "rumblings" but nothing to bad. Best to ask for a rear room if this would worry you!

Room Tip: Rear room as front rooms face onto the DLR

Stayed here for a long weekend and this was a really good hotel, fast efficient check-in, great room (though view was of what I assume is an unfinished extension), great breakfast that was available until a reasonable hour and a good selection of bars and restaurants either in Canary Wharf or a short DLR trip away in Greenwich or the new Westfield at Stratford. The only gripe is about location, the week-end we there the Jubilee line was off so getting to and from Central London was a pain.
