We spent 2 enjoyable nights at the Apex London. The rooms were spacious for city hotels, the bathroom was spotless and the food was very enjoyable. The only down side was the Monday morning restaurant staff who seemed less than interested in their jobs!

Definitely recommend staying here and looking forward to trying their Scottish hotels too.

Had a brief one night stay here and although I didn't get to use all the amenities, I was very impressed by the hotel. The service was efficient and friendly. There was a selection of over 100 dvds and the best thing is, they were free to rent! The room was not particularly large but was well equipped with an excellent shower and bath (featuring complimentary duck!) I ordered room service and the hamburger was excellent! The one problem was, being in the city, there weren't many amenities open late at night. However, the hotel is very close to the tube station and the Tower of London. I would definitely stay here again. Excellent service, reasonable pricing and a nice, modern atmosphere.

The Apex City of London is a welcome respite from sky high prices at so so properties in London. The Apex is very convienently located next to the Tower Hill tube station, and is a very short walk, even with baggage. The hotel is clean, modern, sleek, and fun. The lobby bar is classy (and the complimentary wine and snacks for guests is great), and the rooms are surprisingly large for a city hotel. The Apex is practically across the street from the Tower of London and the London Bridge, and a short walk to St. Paul's Cathedral. Public transit is just outside and the way to go. The staff was friendly and on point, and the ammenities are huge portions and yummy. They even leave you a rubber duckie in your room! The only downside was no internet access for guests without a fee. The property offers deals if you book directly through their website, and they have a sister property in Edinburgh. I've travelled to London many times, and have never had such a pleasant, non-bank breaking, hotel experience. I highly reccommend the Apex.

I have just returned from 3 nights at this hotel.
It is lovely, everything very clean. Quiet, especially for a central London Hotel. Close to the Tower Hill tube and DLR stop. Not far to walk after a busy day.
Only negative, not near to any shops really and the windows do not open. The decor is very modern and new and the bathroom is on the big size with a bath and shower, also in good condition and no mould to be seen.
I really enjoyed this hotel and would stay again.
Breakfast is what you would expect with plenty of fresh fruit.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Can't really say anything negative to say about this nice hotel.
