I have taken a group of 10 people adults and children (7-14) to see the show in mid-December in the evening .Peacock Theatre is managed by the Sadler's Well group so go direct for a group of 10 or more - You won't be able to book if 10 + seats so telephone is excellent. I got offered 20 % discount on the cheapest price and no charges for the transaction. I also had a disable child with me so I needed to fill in the access form with evidence of disability (which was easy done via email and returns) - disable child get 50 % discount on the ticket + carer.
I was a bit worried that we would end up in the 'gods' for £9.60 per person but I was promised good seats and clear view - which was a delight ! We were split up across the row in the stalls X and Y but it did not matter as adults could stay with children . Efficient and polite staff over the phone , got my tickets sent through the post with no problems at all -
Show started on time at 7 pm with a 20mn interval and finished excactly at 8h55 pm so not too late for the children.
The theatre was packed. In front of us was a very large group of French school pupils on a trip to the capital (8 years old ) - They were all delighted by the show as it required no language at all - just watch the stage which seems bigger than average and enjoy the dancing and costumes with lovely characters. I would recommend it with young children , possibly 4-9 years old as best range - But we saw lots of adults coming without children too !
A lovely family show and certainly a good start for the festive season !
