3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2014

After flying overnight we arrived about 10:00 - 10:30am very tired but were told that check-in was not until 2:00pm without any effort to see if a room was available.
At 2:00pm we claimed our Executive studio room. At first sight we were quite pleased. It was clean and quite spacious with a sort of living room downstairs and the bedroom up a very narrow set of stairs. (The bed settee in the living room had been left as a bed even though they knew we were only 2 people.) As others have stated their are some limited cooking facilities and fridge but nowhere to sit down and eat except the sofa.
Plenty of cupboard space for clothes but the bed had to be the smallest double bed I have ever seen. My wife and I were in continual fear of falling out when we turned over. Next we found that the modern bedside lamps that were supposed to operate by touch but didn't. We reported that the next morning but they were not fixed over our 4 night stay.
Maid service was haphazard at the best. Despite us both showering daily, only one towel would be changed. Beds were not touched and not sure if anything else was done.
The hotel is fairly new and obviously not completed with missing furnishings, loose bathroom taps and other minor things but does have the potential to be very good if some of the obvious facilities and service are improved. Having such a modern hotel in an old church school house was a surprise (you wished some touches of the original had been left) and can be used to the hotel's benefit.
One major problem for me was the skylight above the bed others have talked about. It has no blind and must point to the East as an early morning awakening was guaranteed but not appreciated.
Would we stay again, probably because of the convenience but in a room with a bigger bed and no skylight!!

We stayed here as a family of 4 May 25-28 2014 and enjoyed it - it is very large and has free wifi and parking, with the underground Archway Station only 5 mins walk. The place was clean and nice although the maid service did not hoover ever or make the beds every day. Also, be warned that although it has a kitchen with a convection oven/microwave there are no cooking implements, tin openers or bottle openers, kitchen towels, dish towels etc. so you must bring or buy these once here. Also only one small bin under the kitchen sink - none in bathroom or upstairs, which is annoying. For the price a very good family place and near the London Zoo. Camden Market is terrific.

Room Tip: Do ask for an upstairs room, or if on lower level ask for one with no one above as we stayed downsta...

We stayed for two nights at So Arch as a family and were one of the first people to stay there after it opened. Whilst there were a few things not quite finished, the quality of the rooms was outstanding and the staff were really friendly, particularly Francis. It is great value and in a good location and we will definitely be paying a return visit.

I stayed here with friends and our older children, we were attending a concert at finsbury park and these apartments were only 1.7km away. The biggest bonus was the free car parking and we were told that should we want to do any sightseeing the following day we could leave our cars there at no cost. We had a studio which was huge, spotlessly clean with a full size fridge and microwave. It would have been nice to have a bath but the shower was spacious with good water pressure and was large enough for two. Our friends had a duplex apartment and the bedroom on the mezzanine was a good size, our daughters did the say the sofa bed wasn't particularly comfortable but for one night it was more than adequate and when they got free wi-fi they weren't too bothered!! The apartments are in a central location with access to the tube station and shops right on your doorstep. The only downside for us was having our bedroom window facing the church and hearing the bells every hour although a couple glasses of wine resolved that and is no reflection on the apartments. I would definitely stay here again and the little cafe across the road by the pedestrian crossing is not to be underestimated for a really decent breakfast.

My husband I stayed here for one night, despite us arriving quiet late the receptionist was very polite and even gave us a free upgrade to a larger room and they allowed us to leave our car during the next day when we had checked out! The room was comfortable and we both had a great nights sleep on the comfy bed, would highly recommend .
