Run by a Russian couple, this small cafe in Holborn is easy to miss. However we were in the area, and my girlfriend and I decided to stop for a drink and a bite to eat here whilst walking past. Run by a Russian man, he has obviously decided to put little emphasis on appearances of the cafe, however don't let the interior decoration fool you as the lunch itself was rather good. My girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed her coffee, and I would also personally recommend the Lemon Cake Slices - they were simply superb and also homemade! It's not a remarkably special cafe, however it is certainly very good, and worth it for lunch if you happen to be walking by.
One small complaint however, I did order a sandwich with Goats Cheese in. What I got was a sandwich with regular Mozzarella in. It wasn't what I ordered, but it was still good nonetheless. However I did order Goats Cheese, and they didn't tell me they were out, simply put Mozzarella in instead. Unsure why they didn't tell me, but the food was still good so I didn't bring the issue up with them.
