Excellent in every way and perfectly positioned for our city stay, helpful friendly staff in all areas and the cookies were a lovely surprise, sure to stay again, great location for a visit to Libertys even if it to only to wash the eyes!

Room Tip: 403 is at the back so nice and quiet

Stayed four nights over the weekend, location was spot on staff where very good, helpful and friendly Room was OK not luxurious, too dark no bed lighting and TV in wrong location
Breakfast mmmm...... well what a let down very poor for the price of it £25 for a cooked breakfast!!! scrambled egg had the consistency of frog spawn continental option should be served in a chiller to keep meats and cheese cool.
Would stay again just for the location and staff but not the breakfasts.
Come on Hilton pull your socks up please

Very comfortable, remarkably quiet considering its location. Will definitely go back. Only concern was the wifi connection, that I couldnt solve. Like many hotels it still offers wired connection which modern devices dont connect to

Very close to a strategic underground station, surrounded by shops, at the border of a number of London neighborhoods. Rooms are what you would expect from a Doubletree. Beds were good and bathrooms good too. Neither luxurious but what you would expect for the hotel brand. Breakfast was not so good, but lots of options nearby. Staff is helpful and professional. Never tried their main restaurant. The bar is ok, but again tons of options just out the door. Limited wireless to the lobby is painful. So overall good for a family not planning on spending a lot of time at the hotel.

Paid for 2 girlfriends, Mum and myself for aternoon tea at the Courthouse Hotel. Great service from the moment we walked into the hotel, and all through the whole tea experience BUT I expected better quality food from a hotel of this quality. The little cakes looked like they could have been purchased at a supermarket and the sandwich fillings were sparse. The turkey and cranberry finger sandwich tasted like cheap supermarket processed turkey slice with a whisper of jam spread across it. The lttle cakes needed to be more varied. Maybe something with a fresh strawberry and something chocolate, just to break up the sponge theme. Too much sweet, not enough savoury. Scones with jam and cream and the unlimited tea supplied by the ever attentive waiters were the best part, along with the glass of champagne on arrival. Overall a lovely experience but the hotel would benefit from taking a closer look at the quality of the food they are serving as its not up to the standard I would expect from this hotel. Does not match the service from the staff....shame.

This is a listed building which was originally a courthouse (as suggested by the name!) complete with prison cells.

The Cells are now incorporated as a feature of the bar area complete with bunks and toilets although now made a little more comfortable.
I really liked the ambience of this hotel which was certainly helped by the super staff, don't be put off by it being a Hilton chain hotel, it really has some character!
Bedroom very comfortable, reasonable size for London (ie; not very enormous by any stretch of the imagination!)
Breakfast (Buffet) not bad and a muich higher level of service than usually found in this 'buffet environment', for example the offer of fresh cooked omlettes and frequent tea/coffee/juice refills.

Price for the location was pretty reasonable and is quoted as Vat inclusive which I much prefer.
I often have difficult recommending London Hotels as they tend either to be poor quality or very costly, but this place really hits the sweet spot.

we spent just one night in this fabulous hotel. Even before we arrived I had to ring the concierge for advice about theatre shows and he was so helpful. On arrival, our case was carried for us, the reception staff couldn't have been more helpful, the room was spotlessly clean, well appointed and best of all, quiet. At breakfast we were greeted at the door and there was nothing the waiter could do to make our experience better. He was attentive to our needs without being 'in your face'. Needless to say we will return to this hotel when we have to visit London. A wonderful experience very rarely found. Thank you ALL.
Oh yes the champagne afternoon tea was a delight served by most helpful staff, more teapots of tea than you could shake a stick at.
