I discovered this place while strolling around and got immediately attracted by the sight of a whole ham leg (Jamon de Bellota) displayed on the counter. While discussing with the owners (a french guy called Pierre and his lovely Japanese wife Yuko) I understood what this place was about: A celebration of Iberic products along with some truly amazing Japanese dishes.
I actually ended up going there two nights in a row.
The hand cut ham was an absolute delight, in addition to be sliced right in front of you !
I also tried the Pork Cheek which was vary tasty and tender,so was the suckling pig (all these brought from Spain, as the owners told me)
The Wagyu tataki was also excellent and subtle.I was also impressed by their wine list which was presented in such a way that one can learn about the origin, producer and characteristics of each wine. It was like reading a wine book!
In conclusion, this little unassuming place is a real treat, with great products and excellent service (they even have Spanish service staff!)
When you have passionate owners and excellent products you can't go wrong!
