Went to Meatliquor after reading a few reviews online and as we were looking for somewhere different to eat, we weren't disappointed.
Arrived on a Thursday just after 7pm and there was a small queue of about 10 people in front of us. The restaurant operates a no booking policy which I think is great and your hand is stamped as you join the queue to avoid q-jumping. We were offered snacks while waiting in the queue and these wetted our appetite.
Once inside we were taken to the bar and ordered their house grog( a concoction of different rums and juices) this was lovely, so good we ordered another halfway through our meal. We had philli cheesesteak and the dead hippie burger and shared the giant onion rings and chili cheese fries. This was plenty for two of us and cannot fault the service or food.
If you are pretentious about food and like it with cutlery and plates, this place may not be for you. The food is served on a tray with grease proof paper and wine is served in jam jars but as a whole experience we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back on our next visit to London
