Description: Located in a landmark position on Piccadilly in the heart of London's West End, the magnificent Ritz Restaurant leaves an indelible impression on all who dine there, making it one of the world's most desirable places to dine. Reflecting a new pride in classic French cuisine made with British produce, the kitchen uses only ingredients that are the finest and freshest available. As you would expect of The Ritz, the service is exemplary. On Friday and Saturday nights, The Ritz holds 'Live at The Ritz' - a glamorous dinner dance with a live band and a dance floor. Enjoy a delicious four course meal of classic culinary delights prepared with contemporary influences, and then dance the night away. Reflecting the elegant nature of the hotel's architecture The Ritz London has a dress code in different areas of the hotel as follows: Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie for afternoon tea in The Palm Court and for lunch and dinner in The Ritz Restaurant. In all other areas of the hotel (The Ritz Restaurant breakfast service, The Rivoli Bar, The Long Gallery) and The Ritz Club, smart casual attire is suitable. Please note that trainers or sportswear are not permitted in any of the hotel or Club's restaurants or bars.

“Still my favourite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2014

Having "tea'd" and had dinner at The Ritz, my adult children treated me to lunch for my birthday. My son and I had dined here before but my daughter (a staunch Le Gavroche fan) was blown away!!!
As expected EVERYTHING was first class and of the highest standard, from the service to the incredible
food. The stunning dining room is a sight to behold especially on a sunny day and you immediately feel at ease.
Our waiters were informative and attentive and explained every
course.
I also love the "theatre" of the covers being removed in unison to reveal the most exquisite food.

Everything from the amuse bouche to the coffee and petit fours are divine.

All can't wait to return and my daughter has certainly been converted!!

The £49 set lunch is incredible value.
Everyone should treat themselves at least once in a lifetime

“Ritz Glitz.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2014 via mobile

Went to the Ritz on Saturday 31st March 2014. We were a party of 11 celebrating a good friends birthday. The Champagne, wine and food were super, as you would expect, although a little pricey, but hey, this is The Famous Ritz in London. The food was delicious and the service and atmosphere was great. The 'Cabaret' entertainment was as good as it could be when you consider the assortment of diners.
Worth a visit, but be prepared to spend your money and don't look at the prices if you want to really enjoy the evening.

“Style AND Substance”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2014

A Sunday early evening treat took myself and the lovely Amanda to the Ritz. It came as no surprise to be seated in a very stylish and elegant restaurant, but the food and service were every bit as impressive too.

Her mackerel start was met with eager approval, whilst my simply titled 'pea soup' was absolutely packed with intense flavour and an absolute delight.

Mains saw her ladyship opt for lamb which, I am told , was delicious, whilst my sirloin was excellent and the vegetable side dishes were noteworthy.

Sometimes, we have been known to have different sweets, just because we can, but neither seemed inclined to back down on the chocolate soufflé and both were delighted to have stood their ground.

Prior to dining, we enjoyed some wonderful appetisers, which, in themselves were a treat, but in the context of the meal, very well thought out.

The service was very good indeed and whilst it is a formal setting, efforts are made to make the evening an enjoyable one, which were highly successful on this evidence.

We dined on a special menu and the bill was £123, This represents excellent value, combining experience and high quality food in a way that will definitely tempt many back...ourselves included.

“Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2014

My son took me for an early (midweek) mothers' day lunch. Our lunch was perfect, the service impeccable and food delicious in fantastic surroundings. Special offer midweek menu meant it was tremendous value for money.

I am definitely going to return. Perfect present
