One of those rare places where they get the three key elements (quality of food, value and great hospitality) spot on. The staff here, led by Lont the manager, effortlessly strike that balance between making you feel relaxed and very welcome without being overbearing or smothering. The food is lovingly prepared and served in ample size portions (we actually over ordered on our recent visit). Special mention for the Tom Kha Gai soup, Sua Rong Hai beef and the Pad Thai Koong. Standard Thai starters for change looked like they were freshly made and not deep fried to within an inch of their life and the wine list contains a few well priced gems.
As locals this has become a regular destination when we feel like treating ourselves without breaking the bank, a welcome addition to Barnes.
