“Brilliant if going to the O2 arena”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2013

My best mate and myself stayed here, it was clean and tidy. The room was basic but nice for what we paid. Buses are easy to get to and the train at the end of the street.
I would stay here again. The staff was very friendly too and Bruno Mars made the stay even better as thats who we seen at the O2. The breakfast was good and worth it too. The bar is good too as its nice to get a drink when you get back to the travellodge after a night out.

Room Tip: Go online and see if you can save on a cheaper room.

On arrival at my room I noticed a strange 'drainy' smell. I told this to the gentleman on reception who was most apologetic and changed my room immediately and said he would investigate the smell. My second room was great; spacious, very clean and extremely comfy bed. The breakfast was wide ranging and plentiful. All the staff at all times were very polite and helpful. A great location to stay for events at O2. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay again.

Am austere but functional room with a comfy bed and hot shower. The hot breakfast buffet is ok, but gets a little samey if you're staying for any length of time. The bread still needs two trips through the toaster before it will become toast.

Ample car parking, and only a short walk from the station for the DLR into central London.

Nice and newly refurbished. Same as most other Travelodges really. You always know what you are going to get.

Room with a big comfy bed a decent shower.

Bar was OK and DLR station less than 10 mins walk away. Easy commute into Canary Wharf or the City.

The accommodation was ok, however they only gave us one towel when we booked a double room. There were also no toiletry products or hand soap in our room. We also had a cheap, small duvet which ment we spent the night cold. Our experience could have been better if they provided hand soap, small toiletries and better duvets. Also, I noticed a strange stain on the duvet cover which made me feel uncomfortable sleeping in the bed we were given.

I stayed here end of September when going to see Fleetwood Mac at the O2. I usually stay in another chain hotel that is slightly closer but they were full. The hotel was immaculate and the girl on reception called Nikki was very friendly and chatty. After the concert me and my partner went back to the hotel for drinks and a pizza and it was one of the best pizzas ive had very tasty with tomato sauce in the crust. I will be staying here from now on when going to the O2 as the location is great and the hotel and staff are spot on
