Description: This bustling little restaurant on Upper Street in Islington is a cheerful and romantic French bistro with genuinely friendly staff and authentic, fresh food. The intimate dining room, which is decorated with tiled floors and blonde wooden furniture, is always buzzing with a jovial vibe. Everything from the fresh mint tea and baked bread to the reasonably priced menu make this a neighbourhood favourite, and is perfect for post-work, post-shopping and pre-theatre meals.

“Large taste meals.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2014

Wend for an early dinner one night, there is a great choice on the menus, the portion size was very very large, no bad thing as it was very nice. If your in the area it's well worth stopping by.

“Stand-out meal on Upper Street!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2014

Excellent food in a lovely room, at this welcoming French restaurant half-way between Angel and Highbury Corner. As an Islington resident for the last 26 years, and having visited many of the places that come and go, it's great to find a place with friendly service and tasty unpretentious food. Great wine and cocktails as well! You should go yourself, soon.

“Superb, superb, superb!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2014 via mobile

Dinner with a friend at Zoe tonight, first visit. The food was delicious, staff very friendly and solicitous, impeccable service. Lovely atmosphere too. Shame we didn't have room for dessert! Next time. And there definitely will be one!

“Another good option in highbury”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2014

I went to this restaurant following the previous opinions on tripadvisor. I was little bit scared because it was qualified as $$$. We share couple of starters and we choose fish&meat as the main dishes. Everything was delicious, good presentation, quick and really good service. The menu is the perfect size, and you also have a big offer of different wines if you fancy. The dessert (Cheesecake) was also really good and the restaurant invited us to some shots. The atmosphere of the place is comfortable but nothing special.
I would recommend everybody to try this place.

“An Impressive French Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2014

Received a very friendly welcome and had a fun banter with the helpful waitress and the owner.
It's a stylish, cosy restaurant with an appealing modern deco which was not at all fussy. Everything we ordered was excellent and satisfying. A very palatable Merlot then Snails and Scallops dishes started us of well. The Bouillabaisse and Guinea Fowl mains were exceptional. The Honeycomb Smash Cheesecake came highly recommended and certainly was 'heavenly' and a delicious Irish Coffee next to it rounded the meal of well. As if that was not enough, being a Wednesday we were treated to a soothing performance recognizable tunes by a wonderful pianist which a notice states happens Tues to Thurs. All in all a lovely experience.
