“Fast and a fantastic view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

The emirates air line connects two parts of London together. Its got a fantastic view, however the charge on top of the standard travel card fee makes this unattractive for regular business visitors, I suspect they will change this to bring in more visitors/revenue eventually.

“Wonderful bit of kit!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

Travel in stately silence across the Thames - no fuss and as clean/green as it gets. Staff at either end were very pleasant and helpful. Although an overcast day this did not detract - the views are great in any direction, would be fabulous on a sunny day! Well worth the money - looking forward to going on another 'flight'.
Only one gripe, the signs for it at North Greenwich station are confusing and then once out of the station they dissapear. However, the cable cars are visible in the distance so just follow your nose!

“Nice view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

This is a nice way to view the East side of London. If you have a all day travel card you can get a discount so it ends up being around £3 for a one-way trip. It is a very quick trip so have your cameras out and ready. Maybe not worth a trip in itself but if you happen to be in Greenwich then I would look to do it. You can then take the DLR to get back to Tower Hill.

“Who would have thought a cable car in London would be so good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

We were using the cable car to get to the O2 Arena. Make sure you use an Oyster card to get the cheapest trips. During the day it's fairly quiet, but gets busier in the evenings (especially when there is a big show at the O2). Make sure you have your camera ready as there are plenty of good pictures whichever direction you look (except if you are looking at the floor).

“Lovely views over London”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

Certainly a different way to cross the Thames. A very smooth and quiet glide across the Thames with lovely views over the City of London. Use it as a means of communication from the DLR at Excel to the 02, but not in the evenings!
