“A fun experience and great views of London”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

I took my husband, family and friends on this trip for my husband's birthday. He loves getting up high and looking at views but is scared of heights!! He doesn't like being on glass, thin edges or rope (like Go Ape). This was absolutely perfect. It is a wide pathway that feels like a trampoline underfoot. It isn't a difficult climb but well worth it. It was a cloudy day but we could see for miles. We went wearing trainers as per the instructions but they provide you with boots to climb so we needn't have worried. You have a harness to wear and a lock on safety system like you have for go ape. We had a great guide with us. He was very knowledgeable and pointed out the sights around us as we climbed. He was very tentative and made sure that everyone was happy as they were climbing. A definite must for visitors from abroad but also for us Surreyites!! A great day out in London.

“Fantastic Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013 via mobile

Myself and my wife pre booked a climb across the O2 arena on Friday and I have to say it was one of the highlights of our weekend trip to London. Billy our guide was knowledgable and approachable. My wife wore Converse All Stars and was advised they weren't suitable for the climb as they would be slippy so she was provided with a pair of shoes.

The climb is surprisingly steep to begin with and you are secured to wires with impressive climbing apparatus. The climb is worth the effort as the view from the top is stunning. Photo opportunities are plentiful from the platform.

I highly recommend this experience. It is excellent value and a must for a visit to London

“Over the Dome (not Under The Dome!)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013

I did the climb yesterday with my daughter, who arranged it as a surprise birthday treat. I recommend it thoroughly for anyone who wants an exhilarating experience with a panorama the eastern side of London – Greenwich Park to the south, the Olympic Stadium to the north and the London Cable Car to the east. As stated in the guidance, you need to be reasonably fit (you don’t have to be super-fit) and not to have a fear of heights, though I wouldn’t call it vertiginous. Note children under 10 are not allowed. The visit is very well organised, with excellent attention to safety. I was very impressed to hear they can, by arrangement, admit people in wheelchairs, which ascend by an electric hoist. Easy to get to (right next to North Greenwich) and there are plenty of places to eat inside the O2. Booking advisable to avoid disappointment. My daughter had bought a “bundle” ticket to visit the British Music Experience, but both of us found this a bit disappointing from the viewpoint of our respective eras (flower power versus Spice Girls!), so if you have limited resources just do the climb.

“GFM London High!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013

Compared to The Shard or the London Eye for high level views, this is the one! Better value for money and is a more complete experience. With all the preparations, it takes about 90 minutes. It is incredible fun thanks to the Guides and the views are spectacular.

“Great views of east London”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013

Takes a while for everyone to get kitted out but can understand it from a safety point of view. The young lady who was our guide was very patient and informative. Great views from the top on a lovely summer evening . It felt suprisingly relaxing climbing to the "summit" plenty of time to take photos and look around at the iconic London buildings, the activity on the river and the Thames barrier.
