“Nice hotel for visiting Kew.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

Stayed for 2 nights and had a nice welcome on reception and a cool room as we entered which was nice on such a warm day.
Beds a little hard for hubby! Breakfast was good with lots of selection which ever breakfast type you go for. didnt eat in restaurant but menu looked good and well priced.
you can walk to restaurants on Kew road we had a lovely Italian meal at Caffe Mamma meal for 2 adults 1 child and a bottle of house red £54.00 , and a meal in Kew village at Pizza express £38.00(no wine! or puds!)
We took the train to Kensington return £16.00 to visit The Natural history Museum.
Carparking a bit steep at £10.00 per night.
Would recommend if visiting Kew Gardens as we did(park on the road outside for free!!)
got reduced entry with Red leaflet found in Hotel Reception!!!

Just came back from an overnight stay here.

Every member of staff I dealt with was friendly and helpful , the room was spotlessly clean and had a nice big comfortable bed with plenty of pillows , it was air conditioned too which was a welcome bonus as it was a warm day.

All for less than £30 as I booked through a Premier offer. You'd probably struggle to find anywhere that offers that level of comfort near to London at 2 - 3 times the price I paid.

We had the breakfast which was very nice but it's probably a little expensive at £8.95 per adult unless you eat a huge plateful although under 16's were free so it was better value at £17.90 for 3 of us for an all you can eat breakfast.

I never used the car park as it was £10 a day and I found secure parking for £5.50 a day just a few minutes walk away.

Room Tip: Check the Premier Inn website for regular low price deals.

We needed a hotel with a car park as we were in transit to France complete with bikes on the back. This is one of the reasons we chose this hotel. The car park is not huge but adequate for the size of the hotel. It is 10 minutes from Richmond station on foot or if you are feeling lazy there are a multitude of buses that pass by the front door. The rooms are standard Premier Travel Inn fare and as this is a fairly new hotel all is in good order. The staff are lovely, the front desk staff seemed to genuinely want to make your stay a pleasant one and were interested in what you were saying. The breakfast staff were also lovely and coped well with the breakfast rush with humour and cheerfulness. It was only the housekeeping staff who were in marked contrast to this...good mornings from us were met with no response or a face that could sour milk!
Richmond itself has a nice feel to it if you want to have a wander around. Travel into Central London is easy from here - we also managed to get to Watford quite easily to visit the Harry Potter thing at Warner Bros.

I have not stayed at a Premier inn before but spent the last couple of nights here with my family. I was very impressed. The room was spotless and the service was great. Staff were extremely helpful. On the second day we had breakfast - 6 adults, a three yr old and a young baby. Although we hadnt prepaid and it was very hectic, staff went out of their way to accommodate us all together. A bit squashed but we didnt mind. The hotel is easy to get to by road from the north, by plane via Heathrow and trains and busses to all parts of London are literally on the doorstep. What was just a bed for a couple of nights while we attended a family function, turned out to be a very pleasant little break. I highly recommend it.

Great premier inn with everything you would expect, the staff were all friendly. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Food was very good and service good. Well located for Kew and Richmond stations which are on the district line. Great for business travel and families a like.

It is walking distance from the Kew Garden, and the river side is only 5-10 mins drive. There are many nice pubs and restaurants by the river. The sofa bed for children is better than we thought. Breakfast was very good and the staff in the restaurant was very nice.

Whilst this hotel was suitable for myself it was a more difficult experience for my disabled dad who had to travel from th lift to the disabled bedroom at the very far end of the corridor. This was to locate disabled visitors next to the stairs for ease if fire. However, this bedroom was not fully suitable as there was no wet room facility as another disabled family member had this room.
