Stayed for one night on a London sight seeing trip but wanted a quality and relaxed hotel to rest in after a long day traversing London. Citizenm looked the perfect mix plus the modern and less busy vibe was exactly what we was looking for and the hotel totally lived up to what it promised and more. Upon arrival a slight technical hitch resulted in us being unable to check in, however the staff member immediately apologised and offered us two free drinks at the bar which we were happy to take. We was blown away with the room modern decor, perfect sized for one night stay and superbly clean. Little welcoming touches your name on the TV and tablet that controls the room was nice and the mood lighting built into the shower just made the room. The tablet worked perfect controlling the lighting, TV and blinds so you could lay in comfort and control everything with the touch of a button. Kingsize bed was sorely needed after a long day in London and slept like a log. Perfectly located for visiting the shard and London eye and not far from local tube stations. Wish I had stayed for longer to enjoy more of the hotel would go back any day.

An unusual hotel, all very modern with small compact rooms. Good service, excellent quality drinks at the bar. Although the room was very compact you had everything you needed and it was all very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for one night in August 2014. Not only was the cost of the hotel fantastic, everything that followed was just immense. The staff were so friendly, check in/out was a seamless process which took no more than 30 seconds. A nice surprise of two complimentary drinks provided with our room number receipt! Rooms are perfectly sized with all space used to maximum effect. The tablet controlled lighting, window blinds and entertainment worked brilliantly. The location was fantastic, with less than a 10 minute walk to London Bridge underground station. Will definitely be returning in the future to citizenM hotels across the world, not just in London.

Room Tip: Choose a city view room for an exciting view over London!

We have stayed in this hotel a few times now and it is perfect for visiting London. The hotel is near London Bridge tube station and only a short taxi ride from City airport where we arrived. Also it is very close to the Southbank, Waterloo etc. Check in is easy and can be done by yourself or one of the staff will do it for you. The design of the reception / lounge / bar / business area / internal garden on the ground floor is quirky but excellent, with a lot of design classics. Also you can check in early if the room is available for a small fee (I think it is 15 GBP).

The rooms are small but if you are just using the room to sleep / wash, they are great and the bed is really comfortable. Everything can be controlled by the tablet (lighting / TV / blinds / curtain / aircon etc.) in the room. The TV has a selection of free films and internet is also free. The finishes are very good quality and the rooms we have stayed in have always been well maintained.
* If the rain shower jets are not flowing correctly (ours did this on our last visit) you need to rub the rubber nozzles on the underside to release the limescale.

The bar on the ground floor level is good although the prices are slightly higher than a regular pub. We had the breakfast once (as the blind in our room was broken) so they gave us it free while it was being fixed and the food was very good.

All the staff are really friendly and welcoming.

Room Tip: The disabled rooms are slightly larger than the other rooms and cost the same as the other rooms.

Funky, bright, fun and friendly. And the bed was amazing, love the mood lighting and the use of the tablet in the room to operate everything.

Great for our child free weekend!

Staff were incredibly helpful and polite

Stayed here in June for 5 nights. Check in is all computer done although there is a staff member nearby if you need assistance. Room was great, bed took up all one wall and was super comfy. Room was clean, only heard noise of rubbish trucks 1 day. Mood lighting was fun to play with. Location is great, within walking distance to one of the underground stations which we used to get around everywhere. Great pasta place just across the road. Staff were helpful when we needed laundry done, free drinks for our honeymoon, organised us transport to the airport which was cheaper than the taxi we used to get there with. Free wifi was great, had no problem with connectivity at all. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone!

My wife and had a wonderful stay here last weekend, and can't wait to return.

Upon arrival the atmosphere grabs you, friendly, welcoming, relaxed. You check yourself in at a self service point, but the staff are there on hand to help you through, and have a chat! While I was checking us in another member of staff was chatting to my wife, making us feel very welcome.

The rooms are small, but oddly large. A kingsize bed is fitted widthways in the room, at the end under the window. The result (unless your more than 6' tall) is a very wide and spacious bed, oh and very, very comfortable! The 'mood pad' appealed to the gadget boy in me, allowing controls of the lights (even the colour), blinds, entertainment, temperature ... (Not the fastest most responsive system, but still a nice touch) great powerful shower, nice uber fluffy towels, lots of little details on things like the shower gel that will make you smile.... "citizenM says ......."

The bar is very nice, some interesting craft beers made for an interesting change from the usual mix of corporate blandness. The staff are very chatty, and good fun. Some nice snax are available, although I can't comment on the food in general as we didn't eat at the hotel.

The location is good, main road outside so easy to grab cab or a bus, although while your in the room your almost completely unaware as they are very quiet. All the staff we met were eager to help and really made an effort to ensure we had a good stay.

I would recommend this as a great place to stay while in town, and would return in a heartbeat!
