“Funky hotel and friendliest staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

Absolutely loved the styling of the hotel, location was fab and the room was amazing with it's mood lighting, tablet control and gigantic bed! The view from the window was great too. We had a problem with checking in but the staff were so incredibly helpful and hospitable that this didn't bother us. The food available was delicious and fairly healthy compared to other places in the area which was a real bonus. Couldn't have asked for more during our stay and we will definitely be coming back!

Room Tip: Outward facing rooms have a far better view, unless you want to look in to other people's rooms...

Fancy Roms and - Once I figured Out how to use the remote I could controll everything.
Shades, Various different types of light ambience, Aircondition and the tv.
Room was small, but well organized and modern.
Great location, close to the wobbly bridge, Tate modern and St Pauls.

Will for sure return.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel over spring break. The bed was huge and the mood lighting in the room was a wonderful touch. Free movies and lots of tv channels to choose from.
Will definitely stay here again next time we're in London!

Great place to stay for a couple of days, it took nearly 2mins to chech-in and almost 30 seconds to check-out.
Super chic rooms, great bed 2m x 2m and shower with mood lighting. free movies and wi-fi.
Food good and loads of space to relax around the bar area.
If you like your hotel to be a bit different this is the place to stay.

Room Tip: over look the courtyard

Just stayed the weekend in London and stayed at the citizen m. I thought the staff was very nice and attentive. The rooms have no extra space but are a perfect den for one. The bed is large and cozy. Even though the hotel is swarming w young adults, the rooms are quiet. We liked hanging out in the lobby area and drinking coffee. If u come from the US, remember to bring lotion. Unlike US hotels, there is none in the room.

The rooms are definately on the small side - 2 people for 2 nights was almost enough (however, other than sleeping and showering we didn't spend that much in there). Using an iron in one of their ironing rooms rather than in the actual room was unusual but not a big issue - just remember to iron everything before you shower! The bed was huge.
One thing to note is that the sink unit is outside of the bathroom - the bathroom contains only the toilet and the shower cubicle.
The lobby/bar area is one of the most welcoming and comfortable I have experienced in this type of hip hotel (W, Kimpton and Morgans all have the hip vibe but sometimes are so fashionable it can make you feel out of place if you just want to relax). We had a drink in the bar - service from the Scottish barman was very friendly. Their coffee in the morning was lovely.
We're booked to stay in a CitizenM in Glasgow next month and I'm looking forward to having the same bright, welcoming experience there that I did here.
