I've used the Marriott at West India Quay on many occasions and it never fails to deliver. From welcoming staff to large comfortable rooms with good facilities and dining opportunities it is all that's needed to make business stays pleasurable

Room Tip: Those overlooking the water are best. Grab a curve suite if you can

Just back today from a 1 night stay in a Curve suite with wonderful water views from the floor to ceiling windows. Stayed here many times before and it never disappoints - the staff are always lovely, the rooms and suites very well furnished and a great executive lounge. However, on this occasion the exec lounge was closed for the Christmas period, but the hotel came up trumps providing a voucher for drinks in the bar and also a menu to choose food - we had very nice Chicken Wings and Triple cooked chips (fries). Hot or cold drinks could be had on request using the voucher. Although we didn't eat in their Manhattan Grill, I have on many occasions and it has always been great, with very tasty steak dishes. Although this isin't in Central London, the centre of town is easily accessible direct on the Jubilee line (20 minutes to Westminster), and there is a multiplex cinema just across the road, and a huge amount of shops and restaurants on the doorstep. All in all, a wonderful stay in a wonderful hotel and I'd highly recommend it.

Room Tip: Curve suites are the biggest and the best with great views over the inland waterway.

I had lunch there to a friend. First of all, the hot chocolate was good. However the highlight of lunch was the glorious cream tea. I particularly like the salmon sandwiches as well as the scones. It also have mini mince pie! Finally there's parking and if you stay or eat at the hotel, you can get £2 off your parking.

Not much else to say as other reviewers have pretty much said it all. Great location with a 10 minute walk to tube station. Shops and restaurants nearby. Short tube trip by tube and you can get to pretty much all of the main tourist spots. Nice feel to the area in the evenings, busy, but plenty of choices for eating and drinking. Gym is good in the hotel, not many people in each time we used it with a few running machines , bikes etc. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and the Steak restaurant is definitely worth treating yourself to. Only a little negative our room although was on the 8th floor, facing the river was noisey at night from a nearby bar, so if you prefer a quieter room ask for a higher floor, or one facing the opposite way from the river. Other than that a lovely weeks stay in the capital.

Lovely situation, especially during the Christmas period. Not overly busy area with excellent access to the O2 and just as easy to access central London. Staff were all very polite and attentive. Our room was very nice with a very comfortable king sized bed.
My only negative is that more than one teabag each would have been nice.

Room Tip: we were offered a bed style and cjose king size. i have read other re iews saying the DLR was nois...

We stayed just the one night but we're really impressed with the hotel. The staff were really attentive and Harold the concierge was full of tips etc. i would highly recommend this hotel as a base and can't wait to return.

The quality of towels and robes was poor.

The phones in the room don't have speaker function, so are old.

I had to ask for travel adapters which were not working when they were brought to my room.

The hotel charges for internet.

The good thing was that the hotel staff are friendly and helpful
