“It's a Premier Inn but better”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

Stayed for business. A bit of a trip from central London but easy on DLR. arrived in darkness but it was easy to see Prem Inn from DLR station. Enjoyed a pizza and pint in the restaurant - much smarter than expected, a bit pricey but there is nothing else around. Room was a Prem Inn room ! Clean and functional felt quite 'new'. Hotel was quite quiet - didn't appear to be anything going on at excel. Woke to find room overlooks airport and DLR but could barely hear a rumble. Breakfast was ... A Prem Inn breakfast, a fair selection well prepared - nothing exciting but all good. At the price I paid worth the trip by DLR and 1000% better than horrendous stay at Travelodge Covent Garden last year.

Stayed at this hotel recently on a business trip. Despite being located in the Docklands the excellent transport network meant that getting atound London was much easier than expected. The hotel was extremely comfortable and decorated to a high standard. Rooms and public areas were well maintained and obviously recently refurbished. The staff were friendly and helpful and the reastaurant served good quality food at reasonable prices. All in all it was a very good trip and the hotel certainly contributed to this.

Fair location outside of London. We had some difficulty in getting to the Cambridge Theater as the staff in the hotel had no knowledge of where the theater was or the best and cheapest way to get there. The hotel itself was noisy as the occupants of the room above were jumping from beds and running around most of the first evening. I think that the sound proofing in this hotel is inadequate within the rooms but surprisingly quiet considering that this is more or less on the flight path into London airport. There were not enough towels or refreshments for the three of us and these had to be asked for but were promptly provided. The room itself was a little grubby and there was no bedside table or lighting provided for the third bed. Car parking was free providing that you were not parked there between 9.30am and 6.30pm. the in-be-tween times were very expensive compared with other London hotels we have stayed at. Breakfast was over subscribed with too many tables for the catering facility resulting in warm, rubbery food.
Porridge was available but with no maple syrup or syrup of any kind. (day 2 we bought or own). Overall I would say it was adequate for the money but one of the poorer stays we have had in a Premier Inn.

We stayed just the one night on a weekend in London. On the plus side the hotel is clean inside, bar area good rooms good bed (as expected with Premier) large and soft. staff friendly. on the down side, out of town by 40 minutes train ride. The outside of the hotel id scruffy, the area is run down & the price dos not reflect this. ok but we will not stay again.

I stayed at the Inn in January this year. I use Premier Inns frequently throughout the country, and they are always very good. This one surpasses any other In I have stayed at. The staff go out of their way tom assist wherever possible, which is a reflection of the manager and his approach. The restaurant is far superior to any restaurant That I have used at other Inns. I most certainly will stay there again.

Excellently placed for the O2 Arena. Tube & DLR, or you can get the cable cars across the Thames. Quite close to London City Airport.
All staff very friendly.
Rooms were very clean, had all you needed for an overnight stay. TV was huge! Service at breakfast and dinner was good, and the food was of a good quality.

We stayed here as a family for the one direction concert at the 02 arena, room was immaculate and the air con a bonus. Check in was quick and easy and the staff were all polite and helpful. After arriving back from the concert at 10.50 pm we were still able to order food from the restaurant menu which was served quickly and the bar stayed open till 1am. Breakfast was excellent and catered for everyone and the duty breakfast manager was fantastic with the children couldn't fault his mannerisms or character one bit.
Would definitely recommend and stay here in the future.
