My wife and I spent 4 nights at Mary and David's lovely B&B in May. This charming and delightful couple made us feel most welcome. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were all we could ask for.We enjoyed David's wit and Marys constant concern that all was well. They were most helpful with transport suggestions into London and even arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport. We would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a friendly and value for money B&B close to the city of London

A friend of mine and I stayed in David's and Mary's B&B for a prolonged weekend in early May. Their hospitality is outstanding, the breakfast superb and their help in getting around was most appreciated. The rooms were tidy as anyone could wish for and the bathroom ( we had the double room under the roof) was generously spacious and also flawlessly clean.

On top of that, the location of the house itself makes for easy journeys both to London and i.e Brighton.

Should I make it back to London anytime in the near future, I would definitely choose them again...and so should you ! :-)

We have just spent another five wonderful days at Mary and David's superb B§B. They are the most hospitable and welcoming persons we have ever met in all the B§Bs we went to, both in Britain and in France. Our bedroom was so refined and ever so comfortable and we had a great and very substantial English breakfast. Both Mary and David always give you the very best advice regarding places to visit or local restaurants and pubs. to spend the evening.
We look forward to returning to their very cosy, charming and very comfortable house as soon as possible. We highly recommend this very friendly B§B to all visitors. You shall not be disappointed!

Room Tip: Very easily accessible by tube, bus and rail.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay with David Mary. We booked for 3 nights as we were visiting our son who also lives in South London. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable as was the adjoining bahroom. The free wifi facility was much appreciated to connect occasionally for business and personal purposes. The full English breakfast certainly set us up for what were 2 full-on days in central London. Into the bargain David even came up with a Chic Murray joke! Scots will appreciate that comment. A portable TV was available but neverr used as we did not have enough time to watch it. Tea and coffee-making facilities were provided with china cups a niccce touch. Mary is gracious and helpful even to the extent of offering after-sun and sun-block after an unusually hot day out and being slightly crispy on the outside. The B&B is not far (about a 10 min walk at our speed) from Tooting Bec underground which is ideal for a visit to centra London. 108 was certainly an enjoyable and repeatable experience.

My husband and I absolutely loved staying here on our recent visit to London. Mary and David are wonderful, gracious hosts. From our arrival to departure we felt like we were at home the entire time. It was nice to be away from the city center, but close enough to just hop on the underground to get to all major attractions. Our room was charming and comfortable. The breakfast each morning was delicious, and of course the tea was superb. We had the added bonus of staying here over Easter weekend, and Mary added special touches to breakfast Easter morning making us feel like we were a part of their family tradition. Absolutely would stay here again and recommend this to anyone going to London. Traveling with a taste of home...it doesn't get any better than this!

My wife and I spent 4 magnificent days in this B&B. The house is nice, clean, quiet. Our room (double bedded room with ensuite bathroom) was clean, spacious and really warm: bed has even an electric blanket! The bathroom was spacious and clean too. Every evening we found room and bathroom tidied up.
Mary and David are charming hosts, are thoughtful, careful and discreet, and they provided us with good and useful advices abut our staying in London.
The B&B is 10 minutes walking from the railway station (here you can take train to center London, that is 10 minutes from Balham), but you can take one of the many buses if you don't like walk. Breakfast is good, plenty and various.

We visit London several times during the last years, and we always love to stay at Mary’s and David’s B&B. It's cosy, clean, pretty quiet, and you can easily got to city center by tube (Northern Line or National Rail, train and tube stations are just ten minutes to walk). But the most important: David and Mary are the most wonderful hosts we ever had. It’s always like we return too very good friends. And we will surely come back!
