“Student Halls”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

If you intend to spend your time in London seeing the sights this is a great place to stay. It is basic accommodation, it is very clean, well run and the breakfast was good. It doesn't have a TV, but I didn't go to London to watch the TV I went to see the sights, a show and Barclay's Summer Time in Hyde Park. The bed was comfortable there was an en-suite and Tea & Coffee making facilities and plenty of room to store away your clothes and cases.

I have stayed in a number of hotels in London over the years and would say that this offers the best value for money.

I gave this 5 stars, because it is exactly what it says it is, not because it is 5 star accommodation.

I doesn't pretend to be anything but a budget, clean, well run room for the night with a decent breakfast. I stayed here because of events in the city pushing conventional hotel rooms up in price by ridiculous levels.

The rooms are effectively halls of residence rooms, no tv, air con, or frills, but clean, with a desk, wardrobe and en-suite.

I looked for an accommodation in beautiful surroundings, with private bathroom, breakfast included, near underground station and chose Imperial college Beit hall.
Very nurishing breakfast- though always the same- included.
Bed was tolerable, pillow flat and no view in my room.
But 50 steps to Royal Albert Hall, easy walk to Harrods and Hydepark, bicycle hire nearby, clean and friendly enough.
I recommend also with children/teenagers but not if you want a romantic room..

Room Tip: rooms to the beit garden are noisier but view prettier,

I stayed at Beit Hall for 2 nights and was very impressed with the value for money and great location. The accommodation is near the Science and Natural History Museums and very close to Hyde Park and I don't think you could get this sort of location for a low price anywhere else.
The room was clean, the staff were friendly and they provided tea and coffee and toiletries. This is not the sort of place to stay if you are looking for luxury, but for me it was perfect :) The only thing that may cause a problem is that it was quite noisy while the bar was open, as it goes into the courtyard. I would have liked to try out the swimming pool and gym facilities but unfortunately didn't get time (they are in a separate building).

I've stayed three days in Beit Hall to attend World Congress in Engineering. The staff are all friendly and nice except one person! The room though is basic it covers all the neccessary things. They give tea, coffee, milk and toiletaries every day, but bottle of water only once. wifi is available on request for 5 pound for the whole stay and it's very fast. if you are not a heavy internet users, you can use the internet in the hall room free , but usually for couple of minutes.
The location is very great, even though, I wasn't able to find the Beit Hall easily and people in that area, though they are students never heard of it!.

The price includes a breakfast and using the gym and swimming facility of the university which is a very good deal (75 pound a day)

The room doesn't have a TV though, but if you go to the hall , there is a large tv and you can enjoy watching movies with students from different backgrounds.

The ironing is free which is very important for any traveler, the cleaning is easy done using washing machines. just drop some coins and the machines is yours.

The location is very close to Harrods, Oxford Street, hyde park and central London and an underground station is very near (south kensington). You can come from the airport to south kensington costing you only 5.50 pound.

I'm very happy and excited to stay here again and again. If you are looking for a basic room with affordable price, this is the best choice. You can save your money to spend it on entertainments, tours and shopping , rather than staying in a fancy hotel.

Room Tip: avoid staying in the rooms from 019 -022, There is an office room for student union, and sometimes...

Beit Hall must be the nearest accommodation to the Albert Hall. Whilst the rooms are basic they are perfectly clean and suitable for a short stay in London.

At only £65 I opted for a single room with en-suite bathroom. Beit Hall supply towels and soap and the room also has tea/coffee facilities. The rate also includes a cooked breakfast in the Senior Common Room which is a 2 minute stroll.

I will gladly visit Beit Hall again.

If you're looking for somewhere clean, modern and no frills in central London, you can't fault this place! Just off Exhibition Road, you're sleeping in student accommodation, but you'll get an ensuite single / double room for around £60-£70.. Ok, so there's no TV, and the rooms aren't all that spacious, but this is the sort of room that you book simply to sleep in.. I used it to stay over after an awards ceremony at the Hilton on Park Lane - it's about a mile away and perfectly suited!
