“Excellent accommodation but not so Brewer's Fair”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

Every comfort that you would expect from Premier Inns. Welcomed on arrival and my room was changed from the satellite wing to the main building. ( Nearer to the Brewer's Fayre breakfast room.)

The room was spacious, clean, warm -the bed comfortable and I got a great night's sleep. Although I was on the Main Road side of the building I was not aware of any noise from the road.

I had travelled to London to appear as a contestant on a TV show and found the DLR & Jubillee Lines were excellent.

I has a meal in the Brewer's Fayre ( attached to the Premier Inn) - this was very disappointing on the Saturday night. Even more disappointing on the Sunday night when I returned to find that the Bar and restaurant were closed by 9.00pm!! - Good job I had some crisps.

Otherwise a great weekend and I won £2500.00 pounds on the Games Show!!!

Room Tip: Travellers on foot note that the reception is in the middle of the complex. If you are walking to Th...

We booked three rooms, one for a tall disabled person with walking problems.
The room was 85 yards from the front door which resulted in having to get his food from the restaurant and we ate in his room which was not what we were expecting.
One good point was that the receptionist was understanding and said she had complaints before and hopefully management will relocate the room.
The other problem was the disabled person is 6'6" so the bed is very very low which is useless as he could not get up from a very low point and needed extra assistance. In the end he slept in my room and used the toilet etc in the disabled room- even during the night !!
Another good point was that the chef helped me take the food to our room, which was beyond the call of his duty. Thank you.

Room Tip: DISABLED PERSONS- DO NOT STAY HERE until they provide the proper facilities for those with difficult...

Good hotel - within easy reach of ExCel either by foot or DLR. The DLR station is right next door. Only complaints were that the postcode on the website & emails was wrong (watch out Sat-Navvers!) and the price per room was £185 per night. This is high even for London. Worse still, we met some colleagues at the hotel who told us they were paying approx £60 less per night per room and had only booked quite recently, whereas we had booked well in advance.

I needed a hotel for an overnight stay before catching Eurostar the following day. We decided to make the most by arriving early and sightseeing London. This is a convenient hotel next to DLR tube line making central London very easy to get to at a more affordable price. Staff were good and friendly service. Room was as you would expect from Premier Inn, clean and comfortable.

We stayed 28 and 29 sept 2013. The ground floor room in the main building had been refurbished and was very very nice. Absolutely no moans and groans. The attaching pub next door did lovely food which was hot, tasty and value for money. Equally the breakfasts were excellent. The docklands light railway station is literally next door and a fabulous service direct into london. We bought an off peak day ticket for £8 (DLR and tube zones 1 to 4) which was good value for money. Asda is across the road with a petrol station. Not a lot around and about but if you want a good value for money base to see the sights in London, then this is the place. When all said and done a days sightseeing is gruelling and all you want is a soak in the bath and a good evening meal before crashing out. Beds are firm and the rooms have a portable fan on a stand which we used during the night and did the trick.

Stayed 4 nights at this hotel which is ideally situated if you are working at Excel for any reason. The attached pub is lacklustre and as there is little else around there I found myself having to eat there - don't bother.
The hotel is clean and tidy and you can get in via the pub if you don't want to walk all the way round after getting off the train but note they lock the pub door at 10.30pm. There is no a/c but there us heating if you are there in winter. The staff are friendly enough and as with all Premier Inns you pay up front.

Everything is clean and comfortable and if you want less noise from the car park I suggest you ask for a room upstairs.

Friendly staff lovely cosy hotel and rooms
Loved my stay, nice welcome nice room and bed, child friendly it was quiet around us, lovely area, would definetly stay again especially if premier inn offered cheaper breakfasts for the following morning as in a family of children can get quite expensive
