“Tiny but lovely :)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2013

My boyfriend got me a weekend in London for my 30th birthday and we decided to book at the Cherry Court Hotel, driven by the reviews on Tripadvisor. We made a great choice :)
Although the room ( we were in number 4) is very tiny, everything is clean and in order; the bathroom is new and no hint of dirt anywhere, very good price for being August.
Lovely fruit basket for the morning breakfast and for snack during the day, very quite street and great availability of Ms Patel who waited our arrival late in the evening.

We're planning other visis to London and we'll definitely come back here :)

This hotel was so cheap for London, and although it was a tiny room and shower room, we didn't go to London to hang about in a hotel room - it was just somewhere to sleep and get showered. The location is right next to Victoria train/underground and bus station. The room was very clean, and the staff kindly kept our luggage safe after we checked out in the morning til we came back for it about 5pm. It's a shame they have taken the prices down from the official website.

My elderly mother and my family just got back from 11 nights in London at the Cherry Court Hotel. The rooms are clean and cheery. The rooms may seem small by American standards but nothing out of the ordinary for Europe. They were modest but had everything that we needed. We stayed in the family room for most of the trip. It is a room in the basement with 3 single beds and 1 double. There are windows that open to the back. Because the family room wasn't available for two of the days during our stay, we also stayed in two double rooms. Both rooms were very comfortable. The beds and pillows are incredibly comfortable and we slept great every night; in fact my boys (10 and 13 years old) asked us to buy pillows like they had there! Mr. and Mrs. Patel, the owners are the best hosts. They happily answered all of our questions, made sure we were comfortable and were available at all hours of the night and day. Instead of a big breakfast buffet, they offer a basket of fruit, juices, crackers, cookies, granola bars, etc. each day. It was perfect for us since we wanted to get out and sight see and enjoy the local restaurants. This was something we looked forward to. The hotel is located near Victoria station and in a picturesque mixed-use neighborhood of homes and small hotels. There are pubs nearby and a little shopping center. It is walking distance to Buckingham Palace, The Royal Mews, St. James Park, etc. We would highly recommend this hotel and next time we go to London we will stay at the Cherry Court.

Room Tip: If you can, get a room facing the street. The view of the quaint street is nice.

We enjoyed our stay at this modest B&B. Very glad to have the en-suite bathroom. The owners are a nice family and were very accommodating. The very fresh fruit and biscuits every morning got our day started off nicely. They did a load of laundry for us at a reasonable price and left the clothes neatly folded on the bed. The tiny downstairs triple-room felt cramped after a hard day of sightseeing, but the air con worked wonders for us. We did not hear any traffic or night noises even though our room faced the street. The hotel's location is tremendously important to this review: a few minutes walk to Victoria Station, which a mega center for trains, buses and the Underground. Best to walk through this complex every day rather than to try and walk around it. Most importantly, the Cherry Court is down the street from the lovely and delicious St. George's Tavern, which we adopted as our home base while in London.

I stayed at the Cherry Court Hotel for four days when I first arrived in London and again for eight days later that month. While the rooms are small they are impeccably clean. The daily fruit basket provided not only breakfast but also snacks for the day. Mrs Patel and everyone else that I dealt with at the Cherry Court is friendly, polite, helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. The air conditioning in London's current weather was also a godsend! The Cherry Court is conveniently located two minutes from the Victoria tube station and a Sainsburys local. I would definitely stay at the Cherry Court again!

This hotel and the family that runs it is great. You are getting great value for money. The rooms ARE tiny (other reviews and their own website does state this) but the safety, location, and cleanliness were top notch. If you are expecting a 'normal' hotel room in central London for 75 pound a night you are dreaming. Minor annoyances to be aware of: Shower is small and the controls will get bumped by you moving around either turning the water off or changing temp. No wall or remote control for the AC so you stand on the bed to turn it on/off. Tiny rooms. For the price the hotel is absolutely great and I would go again. Not for those who want a Hilton or Park Avenue hotel room for 1/5th the price. Hence the only negative reviews you see here (imo).
