“Not a 4 Star Hotel”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Not impressed at all with this hotel. I booked this hotel on a deal which claimed it was a 4 star hotel. My '4 star hotel' was old and tired looking and was not maintained properly. In my room 402, part of the ceiling above the door was cracked and visible through the ceiling panels of which some were misaligned and showing big gaps. There were carpet stains throughout the hotel, scuffed doors and furniture. Some taped up to hide the scratch marks. There was damage to the walls in my room. The lampshades need throwing out as they were old, creased and crumpled. 3 star hotel, maybe. But that said, I can expect better from the Premier Inn next door.

We stayed here as we had a show at The O2 to go to. It was a secrete hotel booked through a different website. On arrival, parking, check in really good a quick. Everything explained.
Staff very friendly. Food on site nothing special. Mainly food from a wholesaler and popped in the combo oven.
Hotel looked a little tired overall. Bed very soft and lumpy.
Other than those 2 negative comments, we couldn't fault it. Will stay again when the need arises.

Lovely hotel, nice size room and a great nights sleep!! We stayed for one night, a Saturday, room only and got the hotel from lastminute.com - an absolute bargain!
This hotel is located in London Docklands, close to London City Airport about 40 minutes outside Central London. If you want the O2 or the excel centre you are perfectly placed! You are within walking distance of the excel, and one or two DLR stations away from the O2.
As we were sightseeing in Central London is was a bit of a pain travelling to and from Euston - but don't lose heart at this - it is doable and we paid £65 (this includes a £10 off on a last minute.com deal) per double, room only. An equivalent room in Central London would have likely to have been over £200 - so don't sneer too much at the travel!
Our room was completely sound proof and we didn't hear a thing from the airport. We asked for a room with a view and we got one, the staff were helpful and friendly, check in and out was seamless. The room was spotlessly clean, furnishings a little bit dated but no big deal and the shower was great / and some nice toiletries thrown in. The hotel is located within walking distance of the DLR (Prince Regent Station).
Overall a very good hotel, excellent value, a bit far out if you are in Central London but the reasonable price far out weighs the pain! Ideal for the O2 or excel.

When the staff knew we were staying to celebrate 25 years of marriage we were upgraded to a suite overlooking the dock. The room was very clean and comfortable, the beds were great and the TVs bigger than the one we have at home. Every member of staff we encountered was polite and smiling and service was second to none. Breakfast was excellent with a fantastic choice of items. We ordered room service on the second night and the food was delivered promptly and was fresh and tasty.

Will we return? Most definitely, we hope to go back for the marathon weekend if we can as our daughter has secured a place to run for her favourite charity and we need a good night's sleep before she hits the start line.

my wife and I flew into London City airport from Exeter and decided to stay 3 nights local to the airport. We were impressed with the staff at the hotel and the rooms were warm and comfortable without the need to insist on towels being changed each day, it happened automatically!

The tlly was huge, but as so often in London, limited with channel availability and the reception issues associated with the capital.

Breakfast was interesting, plenty of staff and choice, although the continental choice was somewhat limited. It was a buffet style arrangement and, in consequence, the longer the food had been on the servery the less palatable it became.

i would go again as the staff were nice and helpful and the rooms were good, but some aspects of the bar and food might need to be addressed before i made it my automatic choice.

Room Tip: None really I did mine through an online agency, but rooms overlooking the water i.e. south facing a...

Spent one night here as a special deal offering dinner, bed and breakfast. The room was well equipped and spacious. Dinner and breakfast could not be faulted. Location ideal for the O2 or Excel. Return - most definitely.
