“Nice Premier Inn and great staff.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

My colleagues and I were attending an exhibition at the Olympia and decided to stay at this Premier Inn due to its location. To get to the exhibition halls it took about 20 minutes walking and just a few minutes by taxi (taxis cost about £8). To get there by taxi from London Euston was quite expensive, £22, so it might be worth checking out the tube connections.

The hotel is really nice, it has its own bar and Thyme restaurant. The rooms were a little smaller than other Premier Inns that I have stayed in but still a reasonable size. The rooms were the usual high standard, clean, modern with really comfortable beds! Other than the tap dancer on the floor above me there was little noise so a great night’s sleep!

The staff in the whole hotel were very nice a friendly and those in the bar and restaurant, had the patience of saints. Some other customers did seem to think they were in a 5 star hotel and behaved like divas, it was quite funny, and the staff handled them really politely and with plenty of patience. The food was really nice, with a decent variety and as usual very reasonably priced.

I would use this hotel again if visiting the Olympia as it was convenient and very reasonably priced.

Stayed at the Premier Inn for 5 nights as it is just 40 minutes by tube from Heathrow and close to the Easybus pick up for Luton airport when we left London. The hotel was as per the reviews - exceptionally clean and may have been recently refurbished. The location is great and handy to tube, restaurants ans pubs. It was quiet in the rooms and our room was a bit bigger than expected. The only draw back was the room had no alarm clock or mini fridge, but that said it was not a deal breaker and we have booked another stay when we are due back in London.

We stayed for 3 nights in late September 2012 - good location, very handy to Earl's Court tube station, and several pubs, restaurants etc. Had breakfast at a lovely Lebanese bakery one morning, and a great burger at GBK. Our room was a reasonable size, a very comfortable bed and the shower (over the bath) was good. Everything was clean and of good standard. Staff at reception were very pleasant and helpful. A good hotel, and we'd happily stay there again.

Centrally located hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable, spacious by London standards. Our room had a double bed and chaise lounge. Bathrooms were clean and comfortable with a shower over the bath. Rates were very good and affordable. Easy access to the tube a block away and close to the High Street which has many shops like M&S, Boots, Fast Food - Pret A Manger, Burger King, KFC etc. Good tube line connections on Picadilly, District & Circle lines. Good breakfast and nice bar in the hotel. Recommended for budget stay, good value for money.
Windows have double glazing so keeps the noise from the road out.

Very clean comfortable no frills hotel close to shops, restaurants and underground. Direct link to Heathrow via the piccadilly line is a bonus. Very bubbly young staff, friendly and eager to please. Rooms and bathrooms were a good size, squeaky clean and beds wonderful with thick duvets which is unusual considering the price of the rooms. Breakfast was optional but good value.Perhaps my only criticism is that free wifi should be included in the price. At the moment only half an hour is free and access is limited to 2 gadgets which unfortunately is not explained by the staff when you purchase the code.

I'm not particularly fond of London accommodation since they are generally pricey and small, so I was pleasantly surprised with Premier Inn Kensington. The location of the hotel is excellent being just a 3-5 min walk from Earl's Court Tube which has 3 lines (Piccaddilly, Circle and District) which I found was particularly useful during the weekends when some of the lines experienced some form of service disruption. There's also a bicycle kiosk right in front of the hotel which makes for a very convenient form of alternative transport. The room was spacious and even had a lounger that would give space for 3 adults. There might even be space for a roll-in bed for a family of 4, but would have to check with hotel if this is allowed. Bathroom was very clean but would need to take note that the hotel does not provide toiletries beyond towels and soap/shampoo, though there was a sign saying you could request for things like toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. Not sure if there's a charge on these items since I brought my own. The downside of the room was that it lacked an in-room safe and mini-bar. It does however have a kettle and tea/coffee to go with it. Good overall value for the size, comfort and cleanliness of the room, but you'd have to pay for extras like wifi and breakfast. The breakfast (traditional english breakfast) was very good at 8.50 pounds per day. Wifi is free for 30mins per day and after that it's 3 pounds for 24 hours.

The reason we stayed because the family room, nowadays it is very difficult to find a suitable hotel when travelling with kids. Some hotel does not even offer booking with kids, therefore the family room at the premier inn is what we needed. Friendly staff and reasonable room in centre London is nothing I can complain about. The only issue we had was the wall is so thin That i can hear what my next door talks at night. But this is London hotel I guess.
