“Decent room for the money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2013

We stayed in a quad studio. Our two boys slept on the second bed which was not comfortable at all. Upon arrival the sheet set on the main bed had been ripped and had hole which made me think the bed sheet wasn't changed because why would you replace a sheet with something that is torn. The room is decent. The bathroom had a pungent smell. At check in we were told we were staying in the new building but the room is a bit dated and work so I wonder what the older building looks like. The staff was nice enough. No one has stepped out as being super friendly. Overall it's a decent place to stay just think it needs a good cleaning and bit more attention to detail.

I was travelling with my friends and the main reason to choose this hotel was it's location near to Hyde Park. (One of my friends is enthusiastic jogger). Hyde Park was not the only plus part about location. The whole neighborhood was very nice. Lot of good restaurants and couple of blocks walk to Portobello road, 2 underground lines 5 minutes walk a way...

The hotel itself is really not luxurious like they are trying to tell on their webside. Rooms are ok, nothing more. But it's fine for London, because most of the time, you are out. There was nothing wrong with the room, but there was also nothing special. Ok, plus for shower that was working fine, I have understood it's not always the case in London.

The was a kitchen in our studio, so once we made breakfast there, once we ate breakfast in the city and once we tested hotel breakfast. I would recommend not to take it. You will find much more delicious breakfast in some nice cafees.

The place is very quiet even if near from all commodities. Reception guys are nice and breakfast very good with large choice of dishes.
Beds are excellent and there are a lot of arrangements.
Things to improve : we were supposed to have a dish-washer in the appartment and there was not. There is only one bathroom and the access is in the parental bedroom. There is only one WC and it's not separated from bathroom, so for 6 people it's not very pleasant.
For information : there is no sieve (to cook pasta), no salt-pepper-oil, no cloth (for hand washing) but there is wash liquid.
The appartment is clean EXCEPT windows.

Our family, 4 people : 2 children and 2 adults were very pleased to spend our holidays in this hotel. The people at the reception are very helpful. The room is well equipped, clean. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast are quite diversified and fresh. We prefer visiting London on red buses and the bus stops are near the hotel. We recommend strongly this hotel and of course for the next time in London, we'll come at grand plaza service apartments.

My husband, our 4 children and myself stayed here for 4 nights at the end of February. We booked 2 apartments and it was great value for money. All the staff were friendly and helpful , the rooms were very clean and modern. My only complaint was that because our room had single glazing it was a bit noisy from the street ( which could be a problem in the busy periods of the year) but apart from that i would highly recommend it. For the price i can't believe you would get any better.

We travelled with 3 people, me, my wife and daughter. It was clearn and nice place, easy access to park near town. 10~15 minues walk to Paddington station. It's also quite as this is located next to busy street. With 5 minutes work, there is nice restuarants and shops to buy some food and water. The only thing is that the room space is a bit small, but considering the hotel in London downtown, it's OK. I stayed twice more expensive hotel in downtown London, but the room space is even smaller that this hotel. Overall, I recommend this hotel if you travel London.

Grand Plaza is the largest Hotel/Apartment complex in Bayswater. We won the 2009 award for best serviced apartments in London as a result of votes from the readers of Business Destinations Magazine. We accommodate more people each day (tourist, leisure, romantic and business) than any other Serviced Apartment Hotel in the area.We are located in the centre of the West End overlooking the precise type of garden square which Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts climbed into in the Golden Globe nominated film, Notting Hill!
