We stayed here for one night right at the beginning of a long England trip. We got here fairly late at night on a Saturday and left the next morning.

The location is wonderful: Right next to the Tate and convenient to the Pimlico tub station. The hotel was easy to find, though a bit difficult to reach as the Circle line was not running when we were trying to get here. (We ended up taking a cab, which was fine.) Once we did, we were disappointed to find there weren’t any restaurants nearby open on a Saturday night, other than the hotel restaurant. (We ended up ordering room service, which was excellent.)

The hotel itself is lovely. Modern, clean, and comfortable. Even though we had an “executive” room, it was a bit more compact than we’re used to. The hallways also seemed awfully narrow. It did seem to have a little bit too much furniture to make moving around in the room easy. All the furnishings were very modern and hip (there was an iMac instead of a TV!)

However, there was adequate room for a simple overnight, the queen-sized bed was very comfortable, and the room was dark and quiet at night; perfect for sleeping. The London Company soap in the bathroom was a nice additional touch.

The breakfast buffet was outstanding! And the concierge was very helpful in directing us to the train station and explaining the timetable.

This hotel is a good stopover point for further London or England explorations.

Stayed at the Double Tree while on business. Got a great rate and really can’t fault the hotel and represented great value for the location. Greeted with customary warm cookie, rooms were modern, clean, and spacious.

Location, 5 mins from houses of parliament, Westminster Abbey, 10 mins to Downing Street. WE walked to Covent Garden via Trafalgar square which wasn’t too far either. There isn’t an abundance of shops, and restaurants on your door step so far as I could tell location wise.

Will certainly stay again if I’m in London.

The room was a good size. The bed was really comfy and the heating was really easy to use. It is a good location in Westminster. We could see the Thames from our room. If you are looking to go up to Oxford Circus there is a bus route just minutes from the hotel that goes passed Trafalagar Square and then up Regent's Street to Oxford Circus. The bus runs 24 hours a day so it is very handy if you want to go up to the west end. The bus you need is the 88. Otherwise it is about a 10 minute walk to the underground at Pimlico.

Arrived at the hotel, check in was efficient although I had to change rooms since the first one had a pretty bad view. The rooms are clean, comfortable and good size. The location is great, walking distance to many of the sights and easy to reach all the museums and shopping district via public transport or a short cab ride. The staff was great, especially Patrizia from the Reception. The gym is small but does the job. It's great value for money, I would definitely stay there again
