Decided to check out Salvation Jane for breakfast after seeing it creep onto many people's top 10 breakfast spots. It's a great space, and service was attentive, and on paper the menu looked very impressive - lots of thought and creativity had gone into it.
However, we got the wrong food and were charged for three breakfasts (despite only being two people) and the food itself, despite looking great, was a bit bland - stodgy and soggy corn fritters, salmon which could have been a ready-meal, etc. On the whole, a disappointment. Perhaps not trying quite so hard now that it's so well frequented. And not cheap either.
