This is a small hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Made-to-order breakfast. Room is clean and has all necessities. The nearest tube station is just a few minutes walk (Central line). Also near a huge mall. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. The only con we experienced was that whoever was in the room above us was loud (it sounded like they were jumping from the bed onto the floor). Of course that says more about the people in the room than the hotel, but it's something to consider if you're a light sleeper.

First of all the Owner is a really nice and friendly guy,he made us feel welcome and at home .
We really enjoyed our 4 nights at The Sapphire hotel in Shepherds Bush,Rooms are clean and Bed is super comfy we had a triple room .
The only thing that bothered us during our stay is that the wardrobe was not attached to the wall and when you have many clothes in it,there is a chance it can fall on you if you stand on it .

But still definitely would stay again,Oh another thing Breakfast is Great :)

3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013

Booked a last minute trip to London with my girlfriend and wanted a cheap and cheerful hotel for the night.
Rooms were clean, especially the bathroom - which had a fab shower!
Unfortunately, we were given probably the noisiest room in London. The room was on the basement level directly under the reception room come breakfast room come dining room. Being woken by tables and chairs being set up at approx 6.30am was not something I had expected.
This room also had 2 beds. One single and a very, very small double. Perfect if you end up arguing with your significant other! But to reiterate - the double bed was too small for two adults!
I'd certainly stop there again but I'd never ever consider a room on the basement floor. We didn't make breakfast so I can't comment on that - but from all the commotion going on it sounded pretty popular!
Please guys ask for a room on a higher floor - to ensure that your London experience isn't ruined by an early wake up call!
Location was also great - just a 5 minute walk from Shepherds Bush tube station.
Parking also on a side street (right next to hotel) free after 6.00pm until 9.00 the next morning. £2.80 per hour outside this with a 2 hour max stay permitted.

Room Tip: Don't choose basement level rooms!

The hotel was well located as I had to attend an exhibition in olypia, and the rooms are all newly refurbished with nice bedding. Breakfast was served too early so cannot comment on that. There are also many takr away restaurants around yhe the area.

My partner and I booked a double room for a Thursday night and at first, when we spoke to the receptionist (on the phone) the hotel seemed lovely (from what we'd read and seen on the website) and staff were very friendly.
However upon our arrival, this completely changed.
Having booked a double room, we were given a triple room with a bed that just about fit us both (we're not big people so this was quite a surprise); I wouldn't normally complain about a room upgrade, but with a small double bed and a single bed in the room you would have struggled to fit three people in this room (room 55).
The website advertises 'Italian marble bathrooms' - do not be fooled! It is imitation (just a side note for those who might be concerned about this)
We were also promised a 'continental breakfast' (again as advertised on the website and promised over the phone upon booking). Now I have stayed in many hotels all over but as far as I'm aware a continental breakfast does not consist of microwave done scrambled eggs, baked beans and white toast. We were also offered corn flakes, wheetabix and a small plate of chocolate brioche style pastries and to water it down orange juice from concentrate, instant coffee or English breakfast tea.
Now I know this review may come across as a little bit 'snobby' and on the whole the hotel was clean and the staff were friendly, but having paid GBP150 for one night (and on a week night, not a weekend) I was extremely disappointed and resented paying so much for so little. We also had to ask for our payment receipt as it was not offered to us upon arrival or checkout! Which incidentally takes place in the same 'living room' where breakfast is served.
I assure all visitors to this part of the world (I.e. London) there are hotels of higher quality that charge less and you will get more. I am sorry to be writing a negative review, but both my partner and I felt we had been lied to and failed to receive the quality we were promised online and over the phone.
