Description: Oozing ultra-sleek Scandinavian chic, Sticks'n'Sushi is one of Wimbledon's most fashionable and popular eateries. With the original Sticks'n'Sushi site in Copenhagen, this cutting-edge concept combines the best in Japanese and Nordic dining, with a typically slick dining room featuring suspended art pieces, clean angles and a stony grey colour palette. As its name suggests, the Sticks'n'Sushi menu features a mix of freshly-crafted sushi and sizzling yakitori sticks - loaded with chicken, red meat and vegetables - served straight from the grill.

“A culinary playground!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2014

Awesome on both the sticks and sushi fronts. Some incredible pairings, and not just on the food menu. Check out the cocktails too - avocado, miso, honey, vodka and various other delights whipped up into a creamy and satisfying sensation. Presentation is spectacular and the lighting really clever which sets the ambience nicely. All in all, this is a great culinary experience. Service was on the slow side and prices certainly veering on the excessive, but for an occasional splurge of a celebration, who cares.

“Great food and presentation, expensive prices”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2014 via mobile

We went there for a romantic dinner last Saturday, we ordered the upgrade platter with the daily special and some extra dishes (sushi cray fish, tempura shrimp).
The waitress was friendly but forgot our order, and recommended a white wine that was overpriced and awful. The service was slow but when the food arrived it was well presented and tasty.
Overall this is a good sushi place but expect to spend a lot of money with mediocre service.

“Nice vibe- feels like Central London”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2014

Doesnt feel like you're in the suburbs in there at all.
Only popped in for a drink but a good atmostphere and reasonable pricing.
Food must be ok as the place was packed, but it looked a touch expensive to me

“Amazing sushi experience. ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2014

Was looking for sushi restaurant in the area and found this weird , yet a mazing combination of Danish and Japanese design and food. The place is really impressing, please do your self a favor and tour both floors. Lovely design. The service is the same warm and professional. And the highlight: GREAT food interesting and colorful. Try the mixed dishes few sticks and sushi. I will surely visit again. Looks like I have found my sushi place in London !!!

“Go! It's amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2014

I mean there was a table of sixteen of us, all well you know lucky to eat out often and I am not telling a lie we all loved it!
Great happening busy vibe, a mix of all ages. The sushi was so fresh and scrumptious it felt like the fish had just swum in. Not the very cheapest but the food eclipsed any other sushi I had eaten before. A good wine or two too! The green tea ice cream had to be tasted to be believed- not really in a good way! Do go !
