this should have a lower rating than 3 star, the room was clean to the naked eye, the walls had stains on hem, i got a room in building 24 basement level, the heat was on full so the lower level felt like a sauna, it was unseasonalbly warm in London 15-19 Dec 2014. the single bed was a roughly 3 feet by 6. evey time i turned my knees hit the wall. the room was roughly 5 feet by 10, the W/C was as large as the room ironically but the hard to regulate the water temperature, it went from scalding hot to chilly, thank heavens for the wall mounted fan but this level does not have airconditioning so would hate to think about the temp in summer. location was fantastic, TV service poor, so could not watch the news for a weather update. i tried to stay out as long as possible so just to sleep but sleep was uncomfortable and woke up with a headache every morning.

What can I say! Filthy rooms, disgusting breakfast. (If you can call warm milk with your budget cornflakes a breakfast )blood stains on pillows,( incidentally minus pillowcases) then this is for you , no visible security in the annex which has very steep stairs. TV has no British Channels, no info in room whatsoever, staff ignore you ,we were on the forth floor in a so called "studio' so glad to leave here after only two nights, avoid at all costs, misrepresented through booking . Com who I will also never use again.

I was in London with my husband and two girls -14 and 22 years old between 28 nov-3 dec 2014. We book 2 rooms. Our room (my husband and I) was 113, in second entrance(not the main entrance). This room is spacious, warm with a tiny bath. The sheets were dirty and the double bed was terible.
The other room was 304 in main entrance and was extremely small. Sheets also dirty, heating not working.

The breakfast room was too small for all guest. We find here tee, milk, butter, bread, and few other things.

The hotel is 5 minutes away from Earls Court tub station, and there are and many buses. Natural History Museum in 20 minutes walk.

Near rhe hotel are many restaurants, Starbucks, Pret a Mange, Costa coffee. Also there is Sainsbury and other food supermarket.

The area is quiet.

3 stars are the average of two stars and four stars. The location and value for money were 4 star. The bedrooms and public area were 2 star. The vast majority of those staying were tourists who were young, in groups, and obviously on a budget. They were likely to be out from immediately after breakfast until fairly late in the evening. I would say they got a very good deal. Anyone planning on staying for a week, using a considerable amount of very expensive Wi-Fi, and spending several hours of the day in his hotel room, with a tiny room being shared by two people, should look elsewhere, and fast!

This is a hotel which has its market. When you consider the excellent Earl's Court location, as well as the price, you really cannot do better. When you look at the tiny lifts, the narrow corridors, total lack of spare space in the bedrooms and the overcrowding in the breakfast room, combined with the poor quality of the breakfast, you really cannot do worse!

Got quite a good deal on booking.com, and had checked tripadvisor so we were under no illusions about what to expect. As others have stated the hotel is more like a hostel in some ways, but it was clean, the tea and coffee facilities were fine, the shower hot, and the bed, which looked unpromising as it was actually 2 small singles pushed together, was in fact comfortable and we both slept well. We found all the staff we met very courteous and helpful. The location is amazing, we walked everywhere, galleries and museums all fairly close. We didn't eat there, locally there are all kind of cafes and restaurants from Greg's upwards. One small gripe is that, like many hotels, they advise you to hang up towels which do not need changing to be less wasteful, but the staff change them anyway

I spent here 2 nights with my boyfriend. I've read the comments before and Ican say that the room was REALLY small,so if you plan to spend your time inside, it's not a good choice. But if you want to have a place to sleep, it's perfect. The location is great, the Earl's Court tube station is like 2 minutes walking away, but we didn't even took the public transport, you can walk for example to Hyde Park in 1 hour. The hotel is in a quiet area, so you can have some rest. Yes, the room was very small, there was almost only a bed and no more space, but you can make there coffee and tea for free. There were some extra blankets, as well, but the heating was okay anyway. The bathroom is small, too, but for a quick shower is perfect. The only thing is that our room wasn't in the best condition, but it was clean which is more important in my opinion. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would strongly recommend this hotel if you look for a place to stay at night and want a good value for your money.

Room Tip: We were on the ground floor and the view from there wasn't really nice (to the backyard), but if...

Booking in ok, room small but tidy. Bed was ok wash basin was the size of a small loaf of bread, impossible to wash and shave in. Breakfast was a free for all, small cramped rooms with inadequate toaster that you had to pass the bread through twice to colour. Advertised as continental breakfast God only knows what the overseas guests thought, maybe the looks on their faces said it all. Reception staff blamed anyone else rather than deal with our issues. Would not stay again nor will I recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Choose another hotel.
