“great pub”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

This place takes a bit of finding tucked down a mews between hyde park corner and knightsbridge tube stations.Great atmospheric old pub and the adnams ghost ship beer was spot on,a great haven from the madness of knightsbridge.

“Our favorite pub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

I'm not surprised to see so many positive reviews. Whenever we're in London, we make sure we have dinner at the Grenadier. I love the Beef Wellington. And a Pimms is perfect on a warm evening. Wonderful, friendly staff. And it's haunted! What more can you want?

“A lovely watering stop...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

My partner and I went to The Grenadier last week and had lunch and a couple of drinks. A delightful find off the busy beaten track, worth the effort it takes to follow the directions to it! Nice food and really appreciated the historical write up of the place in the menu- nicely done. Very popular with tourists from around the world and they are clearly well recommended to travellers to their compliment. However, I'm sorry to say the English of the young lady serving us was not good (and to the point it was actually a wee bit frustrating), and didn't therefore give a friendly welcome. A shame as I strongly suspect this is a misrepresentation of them as a very engaging pub and piece of London and military history. But saying that, the food was good and beer wetted the whistle- we will be back. Thank you.

“Excellent Pub in an Atmospheric Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

The Grenadier is everything that an English pub should be. Located in a quiet mews in Belgravia this small historic pub is full of atmosphere. A group of us went there for dinner one evening ( make sure that you book in advance) and everyone had a great time. The traditional English pub fare was very good and the service was excellent. Although it is a little pricier than some other pubs it was by far the best pub that we encountered on our recent visit to London. We will definitely return.
