Very and almost (but not quite) stereotypically French, a delightful restaurant in a moderately nice part of London.
It's only small (so book), but the service is very good*, the food and drink delicious and the experience overall quite charming. There's enough variety to appeal to different tastes, but without straying away from the French style of rich flavours.
*except for when we asked for a wine recommendation and were told that they were all good ... which wasn't quite the most helpful answer.
We had starters, mains, 2 glasses of champagne and a half bottle of white and it came to about £120, which is fair for a good quality meal and experience.
There are plenty of good restaurants in London but this one feels less grand (it really is small), more genuine and more focused. Recommended.
