“Very Good, but...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

First stay at this hotel, and was told I'd been upgraded which was a pleasant surprise. Reception was very attentive, if not a little overly so, but hardly a problem. Had asked for a room away from lifts as I tend to be a light sleeper which I got. The room was nice, well appointed and with a balcony terrace (shame it wasn't the summer). However, this is where the 'but' comes in - the room was on the top floor on the side of the hotel which must have had an air conditioning unit on the roof above it as even with the room aircon turned off, there was a constant loud hum doing its best to stop me from sleeping.... I'm just glad I hadn't paid the full price. One other thing, the barman was clearly disappointed wth the size of tip received for bringing a bottle of champagne 10ft to us and opening it.

We loved this hotel, and it was perfect for our weekend sightseeing in London.

The reception and bar are tres chic, and the staff are welcoming and efficient and friendly.

The room was lovely and clean and a good size. All the contents shout QUALITY all through the room... Artemide lamps, Bose dock, Samsung TV, Grohe bathroom fittings. Very quiet with no noise from outside or other rooms.

Little extras have been thought about and really make you want to go back for another stay - £10 voucher, free wifi, etc.

We'll be back!

The stay at this hotel was a great pleasure:
Great location - Close to Covent Garden and Soho as well as the shopping areas.
Warm welcome and excellent service - the staff was very kind, taking time to get us orientated. Helping with "what to see" and "how to get to the different places".
Modern and clean room - very comfortable and cosy.
One evening, we tried to open a bottle of wine, the screwdriver broke - the room service was quick and helped us out promptly.
We can only recommend this hotel - a great change compared to the one we were before!

Great modern hotel. Good location for theatres, nice breakfast, rooms were comfortable, clean and really nicely decorated, with a walk in shower to die for. Staff were really friendly and couldnt do enough for you without being over the top.
Would recommend to anyone.
