“Excellent on all counts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

Stayed at the hotel after reading reviews from several travel websites. I have to say a wonderful hotel that scores full marks on all counts. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming as if they knew me. The room I got was overlooking the court yard with a large window that lets a lot of light in, nice. Bus number 23 takes me into town passing London highlights which covers Oxford street and Edgware road very convenient.

I had an important occasion in Barbican Centre and the location of the hotel was great around 6 GBP Taxi fare to Silk St. which was where the entrance of the Centre is located.

I will without doubt stay there again.

Apex hotels are always dependable and Temple Court has become my favourite. Service is superb from the friendly and efficient receptionist to the helpful bar staff, the staff can't be faulted. Rooms are spotlessly clean, well designed and tastefully decorated. I like that the bathroom has a very deep bath and and a large separate shower with top class toiletries.

All that and a great location close to theatreland and Covent Garden as well as excellent transport links. It has it all.

This was my second stay at the Apex on Fleet St. Great little hotel, excellent service and really attentive staff as you'd expect. Rooms are large, clean and extremely comfortable. Only criticism on this stay was that the drainage in the wet room didn't seem to be working efficiently and the receptionist didn't quite understand what I was saying when I mentioned it the following morning.

Found the Apex after searching through Trip Advisor and I wasn't disappointed.

Got there at noon on a Saturday and was allowed to check in immediately. Had booked a suite which was massive with two big rooms and massive TVs with BOSE sound dock. £10 bar voucher plus access to the Club lounge was a great bonus especially the club's free beer, wine and breakfast.

Bed was comfy, room was quiet service was impeccable - special thanks to Natalia - friendly and efficient!

We will be back

I've stayed at the Apex a few times now on business, and it's almost faultless.

It would have scored a 5 other than for a bad (and uncharacteristic) incident of poor service from a single member of the bar team. Rude, surly and no concept of customer service left an indelible impression I'm afraid.

That aside, this is a smashing little oasis of calm just off Fleet Street. Every other member of staff from Reception through to the guy delivering room service were impeccably polite and well mannered. It's far from cheap (c£200+ / night), but the quality of the place shines through - Bose ipod dock in the room and superb finish throughout. Nice touches included some books in the room which helped make the place slightly less impersonal. Breakfast was great too!

Have been to the Apex twice now, the second time as impressive as the first. Staff were attentive but not pestering, the rooms had top rate finishes and furnishing. Good coctail bar - attendant will mix up an individual one with your favouite spirits/mixers - it doesnt have to be on the list! Its location is good for those wanting to get into the heart of the capital. We will be going again.
