“I'm in love with this hotel - Spectacular Location & Value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

We just spent three nights at this hotel and had an amazing stay. We were given a room immediately, despite arriving at 11:00am on our check-in day, and were received warmly by the staff.

The hotel is visually gorgeous from stem to stern. Newly opened, it's immaculate and fresh. Our room was on the third floor, and although a bit of a long walk from the elevator was large, modern, quiet and had a wonderful bed and bedding (the pillows are incredible).

The TV in the room was a large LED (40+ inches) screen with the option to plug in your laptop to watch movies on it vs your laptop.

There were lots of plugs in the room - no US-type outlets, but that's OK - bring an adapter.

The washroom was also large and clean - totally modern with a deep soaker tub and a separate executive (walk-in) shower with a great rain shower head. My only complaint from my experience is the toilet - it's huge and the seat is very wide and uncomfortable - any children would be at risk of falling right in.

The hotel offers free wifi with the ability to use one code for multiple devices (vs some places that make you request or pay for a different code for more than one device). You have to log in frequently, but the speed is fast and we never had an issue with 4 devices connected.

The hotel is a 5 minute walk to Blackfriars Tube station and steps to many coffee shops and awesome pubs on Fleet street.

We've paid a lot more for hotels in London and have not had nearly as pleasant an experience. You can't go wrong here.

Room Tip: Rooms that overlook the courtyard might be quieter. There is a lot of construction in the area, so...

Ideally situated, being very quiet at weekends but within short bus/tube/walking distances of major attractions.Room was large with well-equipped bathroom and comfortable bed and looked out towards the river and up to Westminster.Staff friendly but professional.Bar snacks were good value and the breakfast menu was extensive.Would certainly return and would recommend to anyone

“A real treat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

Don't normally stay in London hotels but met up with daughter visiting from Australia for a girlie weekend and was very impressed with the location and comfort of the hotel plus the fact that being set back from the road and around a courtyard it was very quiet. Very nice quality and choice for the continental breakfast. Would recommend this hotel and would stay there again if the chance arose. Loved the rubber duck by the deep bath!

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking central courtyard may be quieter - ours was quite a walk from the lift so might be...

“Brilliant London Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

We stayed here a weekend in November 2012, and were amazed. The hotel is clean, cozy and has exeptionally nice common areas. The room was big, with Bose Ipod docking and a bathroom to die for. The in-room breakfast was great and so were the drinks in the bar. With just a short walk to Covent Garden, this is a gem ! Will definetly be back.
