The hotel is very charming, with a beautiful entrance and well-decorated lobby. Although our room was on the small side by US standards, it was comfortable and had plenty of amenities and enough closet space. The bathroom was also small but well-designed, so not an issue. Our room overlooked the front entrance of the hotel (very lovely, well landscaped and with colorful flowers) but we never heard a sound, it was very quiet.
From St. Ermin's you can easily walk to Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Victoria Station and many other London sights, and the tube station is very close as well so we thought the location was fantastic. The surrounding area was clean and felt safe for walking, which we did primarily during the day, so not sure if it is also safe to walk there at night.
The breakfast buffet had a good selection of various breakfast foods and the service was excellent. We ate dinner at the hotel our first night as we were too jet-lagged to go elsewhere and it was so good that we ate dinner at the hotel again another night! Everything was delicious!
We would definitely stay here again!
