Beautifully appointed, around the corner from Buckingham Palace, Parliament, Westminster Abbey and House of Frasier’s Department Store. Charming common areas are beautifully decorated authentic 1800’s and our large room was ultra modern. King size mattress and high quality bedding/pillows delivered a heavenly sleep. Very well insulated, hotel was full and we never heard a sound from adjacent rooms or the street below. Efficient and friendly front desk staff. Room was directly across from Scotland Yard so we felt very safe as women traveling alone. Bathroom is lovely marble, unlimited hot water and plenty of shower pressure. Tea/coffee service in room, flat screen tv, safe, bar, wireless throughout. Underground subway stop adjacent to hotel. Terrific shopping at House of Frasier’s Department Store one short block away on Victoria. What’s not to love? They need two concierge attendants. There was always a line, however, he was top notch when it was our turn for assistance. Highly recommend!!
