“GREAT HOTEL!!!!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

My family of four: two adults and two kids 7 and 9 stayed at the wonderful St Ermins Hotel from 11/26-1/2/2013. Right now I am jet lagged but I wanted readers to know that this hotel is wonderful! The staff from the bellhop, to the front desk, room service and most memorable Juan, the concierge are warm, friendly and know how to make a person's stay in their hotel wonderful! The decor and lobby area was beautiful and clean. The room was very clean, comfortable and large compared to other hotels in Europe that I stayed in. The location is really good literally around the corner from the tube. There is a starbucks down the street as well as local stores for sodas and treats. You can walk to many of the main attractions easily yet it is quiet. I love London for its beauty and for their people. Everyone we encountered with was so friendly and jolly. It was so refreshing. I can't wait to return one day in the future and without a doubt I would stay at St Ermins again!

Room Tip: If traveling with kids ask for a family room it has two bathrooms which is great!!!!!

Stayed here for 2 nights over New Year with my new wife and couldnt recommend it enough. From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted by friendly and efficient staff. We were offered a free upgrade to a small suite which was brilliant and also had a complimentary bottle of Prosecco in our room to congratulate us on our recent wedding! The rooms are well equipped, clean and for London failry spacious. the hotel itself is outstanding and the Lobby is breathtaking! Location couldnt be better, especially for New Years Eve with the short walk to Westminster. The best hotel we have stayed in in London by far and we have experienced a few!! Do not hesitate to book this hotel! Outstanding!

Stayed for 2 nights in December 2012. Room was lovely, decent sized room for a London hotel, great facilities within the room and very comfortable. I spent some time on the Sunday upstairs in the reception foyer reading newspapers which was lovely to get out of the room and have some P&Q and relaxation away from bar area. Very clean throughout and well maintained. Bar offered lots of little 'cubby holes' if you wanted to be alone and we were very well looked after. Room service bar tariff was cheaper than the actual bar tariff which I found strange but all in all an excellent stay. Perfect location for tubes and sightseeing Westminster. Lots of local restaurants and places to eat if you want to get away from hotel within easy walking distance. Hotel looked beautiful in the evening decked out with the Christmas lights. Highly recommend and would go back.

This is the most beautiful hotel, brimming with character and in a great location close to transport links and places to visit.

As a business traveler, on one visit, I was working particularly long hours and came back to my room to be able to hear the party in the ballroom. I called reception and asked what time the party was to finish. I was told 11.30pm and, after inquiring if they could do anything about moving me I was moved to an upgraded room on the 4th floor away from the ballroom. There was a minimum of fuss and the move took a maximum of 20 minutes.

Room service is excellent as is the food in the bar. The drinks in the bar are VERY expensive as is the Brasserie next door but the food is excellent. There is a great selection of other places to eat nearby so not too much to worry about on that front.

in 2012 I stayed here for about 3-4 weeks in total and loved it.

Room Tip: the standard rooms, while well appointed, are a bit on the small side for long stays

This hotel was booked as part of an Expedia package to London. We picked it based on the amazing exterior photo of the hotel and the outstanding location.(I can't imagine a better location for a tourist) We stayed for 8 days and it was absolutely the most incredible, enjoyable and welcoming experience I could imagine. As a first-time visitor to London I had a ton of questions. The ENTIRE staff was amazingly helpful. The main consierge we worked with was Alejandro(who consistently went above and beyond--even taking pictures of us upon our departure) but the whole consierge staff was totally accomodating. We were in residence over Christmas, and the hotel was beautifully decorated. If you are travelling to London and are interested in being within walking distance of Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben the London Eye, etc--while being treated like royalty--this is your place! Our experience at St. Ermin's added to our fantastic vacation! Outstanding!

Met up with friends for dinner in central London one evening and decided to book ourselves into a hotel. The St Ermin's is amazing.

It is very well located, just a short walk from Victoria rail station.

Our stay was very very good. From the point of arrival, the doorman, check in, concierge ...all exceptional service.
The room was very well appointed and had a distinct boutique feel. Very clean an clearly well maintained. Very comfortable bed, well equipped bathroom with White Company toiletries.
Breakfast was very good offering a goo range of hot and cold dishes with again exceptional service ...

Will defiantly chose to stay here again. Very strongly recommend.

No downside to this hotel. It was perfect in every respect. We've specially enjoyed our family room. We selected St Ermin's strictly on the basis of its location and the reviews posted here; the reviews are completely accurate. St E's is a great hotel gardening old time charm with modern conveniences. The staff was also quite helpful. Enjoy her!
