Really enjoyed our stay...place is very central and very near underground. Staff very friendly and room clean. Will return back soon :) would highly recommend it! Staff also booked our taxi back home at very good price.

When in London I stay in the Kings Cross Station area. This trip came when my usual hotel was full most of that time, so I booked two nights at The Fairview. I was favorably impressed with my small but clean and quiet single room, and the cooked-to-order breakfast was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was 59 pounds each night at a time when rooms were scarce.

London is such a remarkably beautiful city with SO SO much to do, and with the advent of low cost flights, travel has become accessible to so many more people. With extremely good value for money, hotels like Fairway Hotel make such visits even more possible. The hotel is very clean, safe, staff extremely helpful and nice, and their cooked English breakfast is delicious. The rooms are cosy and comfortable, albeit slightly small, but there again this as expected from a typical Georgian house. Besides, who would want to stay inside when the best sights in London are so incredibly accessible. With the hotel being literally less than 100 metres off probably the most important underground stations in London (Kings Cross St. Pancras), with direct easy access to most of the places of interest, and with a direct lines from/to Heathrow and Gatwick, this hotel is perfectly located. Free WIFI is an added bonus, as are tea and coffee making facilities within the room.

Excellent value for money; easy to find from Euston Rd and main stations, welcoming staff, very clean, comfortable beds, quiet street location. Perfect for early starts on Eurostar, being only a two minute walk. Room was 'bijou' but fully equipped with ensuite, tea making, TV and wardrobe - not much space- fine for the ladies but a man might struggle with it, especially in the shower and loo. Breakfast room was small and overcrowded. Although the food was good we felt rushed and squeezed in. Customer service was excellent and I would definitely stay again.

The reception staff where nothing but excellent & so helpful

The room was super clean with tea making facilities television& in my instance shower & toilet - all totally clean.

The staff at breakfast where efficient and friendly, the "full" breakfast was good.

I have already booked for my next “séjour” in town

As far as I am concerned a Five star experience at a very reasonable price

I highly recommend this hotel- value Cleanliness where far better than many Campanile that I have stayed in.

The location couldn't be better for rail travelers from St Pancras/Kings Cross (also not far from Euston), and there's even a subway that goes direct to Heathrow. It's a short walk from the British Museum, plenty of restaurants nearby, yet it's also in a fairly quiet residential area where you'll have no trouble getting to sleep. Rooms are small, stairs narrow, but that's par for the course in London B&B's. The staff were lovely, the free wifi was fast and seamless (unlike some places I could mention). Regarding the credit card charge, blame the banks for that--a small place like this can't afford to subsidize the bank charges, they were kind enough to hold off charging our card before making sure we knew about the extra fee.

We were perfectly satisfied with our overnight stay. The staff were friendly, pleasant and anxious to please. Our room was small but clean and had everything that we needed. A good budget option in a very convenient situation for travellers from the North since it's only a couple of minutes from St Pancras station. Our only complaint was the breakfast coffee - undrinkable! The hotel is obviously popular with foreign visitors since we were the only natives at breakfast -- they know good value when they see it.
