very easy to find getting of the tube, good clean hotel ,staff polite and helpfull, rooms nice and clean,in the middle of the town but very quiet, enjoyable stay, will use again. brekfast was not to bad could have done with bacon, all that was available was sramble eggs sausages and beans, and cerals and toast, but i think all holiday inns are like this as we went to the one at straford on avon and the breakfast was the same, come on holiday inn lets have some bacon on the menu.

Stayed here this week when I needed to be close to the Olympia Conference Centre.

I used to stay here frequently, but with the increase in the number of IHG hotels in the city, I've tended to stay elsewhere and closer to the city centre.

But this is still a comfortable place to stay and is well-connected to the key parts of the city. This is a standard Holiday Inn Express, though I noticed that it's been updated since I last stayed here. It's set back from the main road, down its own side street, so it's a quiet location too.

Its rates tend to me lower than your average central London rate, so is still an affordable option.

I booked this hotel as I was taking part in the London Marathon and reading other reviews thought it looked ideal for location. we arrived around 2.30pm and our family room wasn't ready , this wasn't a problem for us as the hotel were able to store all our bags safely and when they realized I was doing the marathon asked if I would like an earlier breakfast than their usual sunday time , I was extremely grateful for this as it had been a concern to me that 7am would be cutting it tight on time . I can down at 6am and had everything I needed.

The family room we had was nice and big and the bed was very comfortable. only thing I would say was it would have been nice to have a chest of draws to put all our clothes in as we were staying for two nights , but that is such a little thing it didn't ruin our time there at all. I personally liked the family room we had as I had two sides with windows and I am a lover of natural light . it did overlook the main road and you heard a little bit of noise in the night from outside but not enough to wake us or the kids ( I was awake due to pre race nerves ! )

The foyer area looks very smart and the staff were all very welcoming .

The hotel its self is just a 10 min max stroll from the train station and then just a 30 min tube journey to the embankment station where the London eye is .

There are plenty of restaurants and shops just on your doorstep in case you leave any essentials at home.

This definitely is a hotel we would stay in again the next time we come to London . This weekend was a fantastic weekend of sight seeing and running the London marathon and I am glad that we weren't disappointed with our hotel choice.

This definitely is the hotel we will be

Room Tip: we were in room 343 which was nice and light

Hotels in London are ridiculously expensive. This is a good place that offers free breakfast and free wifi in the common areas (almost unheard of in the London hotel market), decent rooms and convenient access to the Tube (Hammersmith). Staff was friendly and helpful.

We made reservations at this hotel at the last minute. Maybe because of that, we didn’t think it was that great of a value ($300+ USD/night), but, of course, everything is expensive to us in London. It’s also a bit further from the tube than we thought it would be, but we still liked the location. Our room was clean and comfortable and we thought the staff was helpful and friendly. There is free wi-fi in the lobby and we were also able to get a late checkout since our flight out of town was very late in the day. The pub next door was very good!

We booked through a company for a hen weekend, we were advised this was city centre, I disagree this is not city centre!
The room was clean and comfortable, no complaints. The breakfast was not very plentiful at all. Hardy anything at all, and was not replenished quickly enough.
Beds comfortable and room clean. I had to go down to reception in the middle of the night due to some inconsiderate person jn the next rooms alarm going off, and not switching it off. Other than that we had an enjoyable stay. It is about a 10-15 minute walk from the tube.

As a rule you can usually extract one star on English hotels compared to their equivalent Scandinavian hotels. But this is according to its rating. Breakfast not very good and Internet access is expensive (should have been included), but price on rooms are fair and location is very good. Probably best to go to Ravenscourt Tube st, but it is a short walk to Gunnetsbury as well. When you go out on Kings street, turn right for a goid choice in restaurants.
