“Great stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

This was our first visit to the hotel and we were not disappointed. The staff were both friendly and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Since we are both extremely fit and well, we were a little puzzled that we were allocated a disabled access room, which was clean and comfortable and highlighted the fact that the hotel has excellent facilities for all visitors. The electronic reception was easy to follow and both clever and quick. The hotel was very modern and the decor in both the rooms and public areas was pleasing to the eye. We were particlarly impressed by the displays of artwork which you would have expected to find in a five star, rather than a budget hotel. The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice on offer. We did not stay for evening meals but the menus looked promising. The hotel was located close to the underground station and there seemed to be good bus services too. We had a fantastic stay in London, thanks in no small measure to the first class accomodation at Premier Old Street.

The room was clean and had all the facilities needed for a pleasant trip. The location was amazing, just 3 mins away from the Old Street tube station and plenty of bus stops at hand. The staff was efficient and kind. The price we got was a bargain for such a hotel. The only surprising thing was the lack of a mini-fridge in the room, but it was not really necessary after all. Overall, an excellent choice for London.

A warm welcome at the hotel and quick check-in enabled me to get to my room within a few minutes of arrival. Room was very clean and fresh. Everything was in good woking order (the TV freeview pixelated on one of the channels but that's not the end of the world!); free wi-fi for 30 minutes is a boon - and great for downloading/uploading email in a short burst. I had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Good choice of food which was well presented. Friendly and attentive staff. I'd recommend this hotel (certainly as a business traveller).

I stayed at the Premier Inn Old Street for one night - Premier Inn are fast becoming my go-to when looking for reasonably priced hotels, and those are hard to find in London. The hotel is very close to Old Street tube station on the Northern Line, a couple of minutes walk max (tube station itself is a bit dingy and not the nicest) and when exiting the tube station you want to take Exit 1. This is very important - there are about 8 exits and it can be very confusing! There's quite a few places to eat and get provisions locally and it's an easy walk down into the City to the other stations at Moorgate and Bank.

I popped in early in the day and was welcomed with a smile by the friendly staff who were more than happy to look after my bags until I could check-in later - in fact all the staff I met during the stay were friendly and welcoming. Check-in itself was swift and I was given a lovely room on the 8th floor. Note; you're surrounded by city roads and other buildings so there's no view to be had. The rooms are clean and comfortable as you would expect and very quiet considering you're in the centre of London! I was a lone female traveller and felt safe and secure in this hotel.

Breakfast was good, nice selection and if you want boiled, poached or a 2 egg omelette just ask the staff who are more than happy to bring this to you (the buffet has fried and scrambled). All the food is of good quality.

All-in-all a great stay, with no complaints!

The hotel is in a good location a short walk from Old St tube station . Its location is down a side street so didnt seem noisy at all.My friend and I were impressed by the friendly and helpful staff that worked at the hotel. Rooms are good - nicely finished and clean . Beds are comfortable. Towels could be a little better - but thats the only negative I could give.
30 Mins free wifi is handy and you can get 24 hours wifi for 3 UK pounds. The room was very cheap for London we got it for £49 per night.
Would stay again .Premier Inn have some real nice staff. well done

Room Tip: Had a room on upper floor so nice and quiet

I always like staying with Premier Inn as the service is good and the rooms are nice. We stayed for 1 night for a night out.

Location - great, by the tube station and a bus stop right outside. The area itself seemed fine.
Price - reasonable compared to other nearby hotels
Service - great, no complaints
Room - nice and clean. We were on the top floor and could see all the way to the Olympic Park.
Bar - Reasonable and serves until 2am so we had a drink when we got back.

Yet again, my stay at the premier inn was brilliant. Was here for work, so turned up at 11:30pm went straight to the Check in yourself moniters, and a member of staff came straight over and offered to do it for me. Room was on the 9th floor with a great view of London, only about a 3 min walk from Old Street Station. I requested an Iron and they bought one up to me no hassle. Breakfast was great and they offered to keep my bag safe behind the bar for me whilst I ate. Top Class yet again!
