Nice atmosphere, manager helpful on getting you a nice table. Starter of beef overloaded on salad and main course of chicken very little as compare to the huge amount of iceberg lettuce and cabbage. Panna cotta very blank in taste....still looking for the passion fruit flavor....wine by the glasse good value. Charming busy place with a taste of can do far better.

“Very nice atmosphere and good food at high price...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013 via mobile

The look surely invites in, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. I sat at the desk and had some snacks and a cocktail, lentil starter and fish curry as main. All of average quality, but priced as high class, totalling up an over 50pound bill... Surely excessive for what I got...

“Relaxed casual dining”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013 via mobile

Dropped in here for lunch on a sunny Sunday afternoon. We hadn't booked so had to wait about 20 mins, a process which was managed cheerfully by the restaurant despite it being very busy. The food was light and tasty and we chose dishes ranging from a salmon salad (delicious flavours) to a BLT (simple comfort food). We succumbed to dessert and chose a gooey chocolate brownie and a delicious peanut brittle which was crunchy enough without having to risk a broken tooth! Overall this was a relaxed, tasty meal served by upbeat staff in a bright buzzy environment. A great place to spend a Sunday afternoon with friends.

“Great food and affordable”

After paying huge sums of money for so so food in London all week, it was nice to have a good meal at a reasonable price. Eclectic menu, good service, great desserts

“Excellent Dining Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2013

On good advice we arrived early on a Wednesday night, which was just as well as the restaurant was very busy later on. This is not surprising because the food, wine and service are outstanding. We started with Shrimp tempura, Rock Oysters, a Green Salad, and a Potato Salad, with cucumber, dill & crème fraîche that we shared. The flavours were fantastic. For the mains my wife chose Yellow Fish Curry, served with jasmine rice & cucumber relish, and I had the Crispy Duck, mandarins, star anise, served with jasmine rice & citrus salad. These smelled fantastic and tasted delicious. For sweets we had summer fruit Bakewell Tart and a white chocolate & pistachio Pavlova with fresh strawberries & rosewater cream. The sweets were to die for. Thanks to all the staff for providing us with an excellent dining experience. We will definitely return.
