“Typical Bill”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

Big fan of Bill Granger having eaten at his Sydney outlets. This London place is just as high quality. Great design, and tap water without asking - rare, but good

“Yummy food in a wonderful relaxed setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013 via mobile

We recently ate here whilst visiting London. We were already big fans of Bill Granger's cook books and we were certainly not disappointed. The atmosphere is relaxed yet sophisticated and the service from staff was very attentive but in no way pushy. The menu selection, albeit a little limited, was delicious and not bad value at all. All in all wel'll definitely return when we're next in London.

“Excellent though not quite the Sydney experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

Having been to his place in Sydney and having quite probably the best breakfast ever we decided to try the London one. Pleasantly suprised to see it busy but not too bust we couldnt get in, we were promptly shown to a table and recognised the same buzzy busy kind of atmosphere. The menu (for breakfast) is similar to Oz though missing some of the drinks and one or two elements of the meals. Service was very good, the food excellent and we really cant wait to come back. In my opinion its a place for breakfast or brunch, too airy and communal for dinner...

“Very mixed experience - but could be great”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

I was taken here for my birthday and had heard some really good things. To be fair to them the food (when it eventually came) was really nice. I had meatballs and it was tasty. The problem was we decided to not have starters, but then wait an hour for our main courses!!! We asked countless times after about 30 minutes and kept being told it would take "2 more minutes." It was just ridiculous. The staff didnt have a clue what was going on, and we took it as there must have been some kind of mistake made when we put our order through. ahhhh. They offered us a free dessert, but in the end we just wanted to get out. They took our starters off the bill which was a good gesture. Food was good so I would probably give it a 2nd chance. Nice looking restaurant, tables slightly close together.

“Amazing & Co”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2012

So, when you first bump into Granger & Co, you are amazed at yourself. Look at me, I just discovered this little gem of a restaurant, I must go and tell all of my friends about it! That is, until you realize that the restaurant is really quite famous and everyone goes there. The restaurant is owned by Bill Granger, a famous Australian chef, who is renowned for Bill's in Australia. After achieving success on Australia, Bill and his family moved to London and have opened up one restaurant so far.

The food is gorgeous. For breakfast, we recommend the Ricotta Hotcakes and the Sunrise smoothie; for lunch, the Sticky Chili Pork Belly; for dinner, you have to try the Parmesan-Crumbed Schnitzel; and for dessert the Pavlova is a favourite. To drink, Bill's Homemade Lemonade is a-maze-ing. The atmosphere is relaxed and, as some would say- hip (cringe). The food is always fresh and tasty, and as weird as this sounds, the water is always cold.

For a perfect meal, whether it's at 9 in the morning or 9 at night, Granger & Co is perfect. Not to be missed.
