“Convenient, no fuss.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

I've stayed here twice now, that says something I think, why go back twice to anywhere you didn't like?

I like the no fuss automated check in, with staff on hand if you're not sure what you're doing. I have a particular hatred of convoluted check in procedures, not what you want after a potentially long journey to get to your hotel! I can be in my room within about 2 minutes of walking into the hotel. Excellent.

There is better than average complimentary coffee served on the ground floor from machines, and in the evening you'll also find complimentary wine, beer and snacks. I only found this out on my most recent visit!

Rooms are modestly sized, aircon seems to work ok but there is a low hum of noise most of the night from what I assume is the hotel's air con system?

Room Tip: As always, try and find a room away from lifts.

I stayed for business. It was a last minute booking and I got the one remaining room available. I was arriving late so they kept the room available to me until quite late. This may seem normal but there are several hotel chains that do not protect your booking.

Desk staff were very pleasant but this hotel is very basic. It is just corridors of rooms but the rooms are okay and well equiped with docking station, computer cables/desk and kettle. No hair dryer though. My room was down a long corridor, up a flight of stairs down another corridor, up a couple of steps and tucked away in a corner next to some store cupboards. I got lost trying to find it the second time. It also tapered to a point so to get to the kettle I had to squeeze between the desk and the window.

Strangely, the sink hot water was tepid but shower was hot.

Would use again in an emergency but would attempt somewhere plusher like The Grange but it's also dearer.

Well, when you are on a business trip you will need some facilities, a desk with lamp, a modern chair with long back, a high speed internet, a mini bar, a microwave because you most likely miss the restaurants and end up with a ready-made-microwave-ready meal.

Club Quarters excellence at this type of hotels...Business, also the staff is so caring and your little problem will turn into their big problem and the will do whatever it take to solve it.

I was in London 5 times in total, 4 of them was at Club Quarters(Saint Paul's) and once at Holiday Inn, while there was nothing bad about Holiday Inn; it was not business oriented.

if i ever came to London again(even for a personal trip) i will always stay at Club Quarters.

I am a single woman who travels a lot to London on business, This hotel is the financial distric and literally in the door steps of St Paul It is close to a subway.the area is pretty desolated at night so if you are looking for action this is not your kind of hotel, However it is very clean. rooms are small , the staff is very friendly and accomodating.

Room Tip: Does not have aspa but a small gym

Stayed here while attending various meetings in the area. The room was clean, comfortable and was great for business. The location was great to combine business with some basic sightseeing as both the St. Paul's and Blackfriars tube stations are close. In fact, one can save cab fare from Paddington (if using the Heathrow Express) by taking the tube to Blackfriars; it takes about 30 min.

Room Tip: The rooms facing the Cathedral will hear the Cathedral bells

A very nice surprise this hotel.Very good location, just 3 minutes walking to the cathedral, quite near to blackfriars underground station,in a quiet area, but very central. We booked on internet a room ,considered by them small, but in my opinion very large, with a huge bed, queen size, but it could support three people not only 2.What I liked was that it has a small kitchen area with microwave, fridge, plates and cutlery,so you can eat comfortably in the room,at a low budget.Very near to hotel is a Mark&Spencer food, from where you can buy your breakfast and not only. The bed was one of the most comfy bed I ever slept in.The room has also a tv,telephone, devices for internet.I really like there ! And if you book with sometimes before you can get a very nice discount price !

My ex boyfriend booked us a room here for a night away for my 21st birthday.

Reception staff were polite and helpful!
Went up to the room and took some of the complimentary filtered water(Lovely touch). Its available just outside the lift.

Room was very nice, clean, tidy and warm.
Bathroom was also very nice.
Docking system was a nice touch!!

Spent most of the trip out and about in London but did truly enjoy my experience here.
I was worried about the close proximity to St Pauls but fear not you cannot hear A THING!

Check out again was easy and they kindly let us keep our bags at the hotel while we went shopping, I wish we hadn't as the tube decided to stop working, however the bags were safe and the kind man at reception collected them for us.

Lovely place, recommended and would stay there again!
