“Slow Slow service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Very disappointed with having to wait nearly an hour before we got our drinks order, partner had complained and we were just about to walk out when they arrived. Food was good quality but service again very slow. They did say that they were understaffed, I would agree. We will not be eating there again.

“Good selection”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2013

Good selection of food and well priced.

The bar is slightly over average in terms of price, but you always pay ore in a bar attached to a hotel.

“Great meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

Although dinner service was very busy, staff were pleasant, professional and tried their very best to accommodate all requests - Well Done! Just wish more eateries were such a good experience.

“Exceptional Service, Super food, Very Well Priced, Super Convenient in Kings Cross, London”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

My mom and I were visiting our new grandson/great grandson in Folksworth. Having made the trip from The States, we decided to treat ourselves to a day trip to Paris! We were in London only for the night as we had to be at St. Pancreas International train station by 6am. We had no idea where to have dinner and decided to take the chance on the hotel restaurant Thyme, and we couldn't be any more pleased that we did!

Our waiter Jaysson was beyond accommodating! Neither of us was super hungry and decided to only order apptizers. My mother ordered the shrimp cocktail appetizer with the soup of the day and hot tea. Jaysson even went so far as to give my mom some tea that wasn't even on the menu!! I ordered the Salmon Nicoise Salad and their breadsticks with 6 sauces and a nice Pinot Noir. I couldn't remember the name of the wine and called Jaysson over to ask if he could write the name of it down for me. A few minutes later he came back with the label from the bottle!! He even went so far as to research where (if at all) I could buy it back in The States!

Our food was absolutely delicious! Our service was beyond exceptional and that made our dining experience absolutely fabulous!

The atmosphere is very nice - casual and comfortable.

I highly recommend Thyme at The Premier Inn! And, if you're super lucky to have Jaysson as your waiter you've really scored big "thyme!!!"
