“Stunning coffee only matched by the level of customer service.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2012

There are many high end coffee shops in London serving a different level of coffee from the costabucks shops, but the thing that separates Notes from the others is the level of customer service. amazing coffee, great staff and delicious food.

“A treasure in busy Covent Garden”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2011

I have actually been to Notes twice now and on both occasions left having really enjoyed the venu and location. Notes is a wine bar/coffee shop with a music store downstairs. The selection of wine is brilliant and the waitress very knowledgeable about different wines - will let you taste them before purchase too. The menu is also really good with charcuterie, pies, cheese plates - absolutely spot on to go with the wines.

It is also a little escape from the rush, noise and tourists of Covent Garden. One could quite happily sit here alone waiting for friends and not feel awkward. Service is good and it's lovely and clean. Shhhh it's a secret!

“Excellent coffee & friendly service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2011

This combined cafe and music/book store is really one of the better places for great coffee in London. There are a few others that I would rate higher on pure quality of the coffee but I do often stop by Notes Coffee and Music since it has a very central location. The variety of coffee offered (usually at least 2 different specialty roasters, often square mile but also HasBean) is also for better than most other places that take their coffee seriously.

There is usually some sandwiches and other simple snacks/food offered but I would not go here for the food. Visit for the great coffee and pleasant atmosphere.

“Quirky, fun and nice atmosphere with good coffee and tea”

Enjoyed our visit - really good coffee and tea and pleasant service. If you run out of conversation, there are shelves of CD/DVDs to look at.
